I grab more mana/mana regen, power charge, skip some dmg in shadow area, grab endurance charge, go up through dualist phys dmg nodes, grab more mana and throw my last points into shield defenses. Think the tree would work?



As far as gear... 6L chest with 800+ ES, Maligros, Shield with 600ish ES, dat dagger, 'legacy' rainbowstrides, my insane 50+ all res ring, death rush, eye of chayula, and I'm still a bit uncertain as to helm/belt options. I was going to skip abyssus for survivability. That leaves me with ES/acc helm or I was thinking Alphas Howl.... +2 aura gems and reduced mana reserved sounds really nice especially with can't be frozen and reduced chill chance. Either RM, Hatred, Clarity, Discipline or drop clarity if I can for empower :P If I wore Alphas Howl I'd use magnate for more dmg/str. If I dropped Alphas I'd use Auxium for freeze/chill avoidance. Thoughts?!

This will build will work wonders.It is less offensive but eually good.I think that u may have gone abit to far on the mana/mana regen thing.I would say that dropping the ones ine the witch area would be good.U lose some mana and mana regen and a power charge,but with 4 points u can get 4% attack speed,50% crit chance and 30% multiplier.Even better for 5 points u can get adder's touch.This circle is the highest dagger DPS booster there is.The poison on crit does insane damage,that isnt even calculated in your tooltip.Also testudo is very tempting :D.Alpha's howl is a great choice.I don't use it because my chest is total crap and my shield is just above averange.With gear of your tier i would definetely consider it.Yeah i am pretty sure that alphas+mental acculty+primal spirit and mana flows will get you sufficient mana for flickering around,as long as u have some mana on your gear.If you want to flicker permanently and non stop the best option are "mana on kill" passives on the shadow area,since u ll be one shotting packs.So yeah this build will be great.With shadow you build for madness,with the witch it would be abit more defensive :)

Good call, totally missed the adders touch... dropped the mana/power charge and grabbed adders touch and another 8% mana... probably be an issue once I get a 6L but we'll see. Right now I'm testing with garbage rathpith globe, mightflay, and 5L. :/

synergism - I am not replacing my vids.It is good that there are videos with a less op dagger and gear to see what the build was capable even then.Hopefully i will add new ones,but currently,after buying that mirror i am completely out of currency,and maps.I want a good hard map to upload when i get the chance.

Edit: Just added a small video.Dominus kill,nothing too fancy,just showcasing the importance of using more attacks tan just flicker strike.Frenzy is great for face tanking,without moving from mob to mob like flicker would do

Hey Poutsos, I've been trying your build for a few days now. I'm up to level 46 and everything's working like a charm.

I'm starting to have some survivability problems, but that's because I've completely ignored the life and energy shield passives and went full DPS for the first difficulty level.

May I ask you how much have you spent in all your items and what items you consider to be a priority over others? I'll need to start spending my hard-earned currency soon and I don't want to mess things up, since I only have a few GCPs so far.

Thanks for all the support you've been giving people who are trying your build out. I can see that you always hang around your thread and you're constantly working to perfect the build. That's great. Your build might not be the best out there, but it's one of the funniest to play with and requires a great amount of attention and know-how, which is great in my book.

Hey mate,thanks for your kind words :).The purpose of this build is to creat a fun gameplay!Lately it has been turned out to be beast,to the point that for solo is better than my 10.6K ES,64%block,42% evasion,450 ES regen per second tank templar,but really,it is as good as your dagger is :/ Thats the downside.

Now about costs

Dagger-150 exalts for the mirror :P
Main 2 rings-self found-estimated cost 5 gcps-1 ex
Chayula-self found-estimated cost 5gcp-1 ex
maligaro's-self found estimated cost-7gcp - 1 ex
old dagger that i sold for 30 ex-self found
magnate-self found-estimated cost for a perfect roll - 1ex
chest-3.5 ex
shield-3.5 ex
rainbowstrides-1 ex 6 gcp-currently they are legacy so much more now.The new ones are fine as well,if you can cap your resists from other gear,but u really need the mana they provide
death rush-1.5 ex(dont know current cost)
abysus-self found-estimate cost 3-4 ex
ES helm-8ex(overpaid abit but i needed 300+ accuracy,400+ES and intelligence)
dream fragments-3 ex but was a perfect roll,also maybe overpaid abit-generally around 2ex i think
auxium-it was part of the trade deal when i sold my (self found) legacy kaoms.Currently it is legacy but reduced elemental damage doesnt matter all that much.I am not even convinced that it is a better choice than magnate.Since in order to wear it,i specced out of 60 intelligence to get strength i actually lose ES.It just gives u the luxury of not getting chilled as much

Well thats it.Now as far as priorities,up to the point u ll respec to CI dont sepnt much.Stack as much as HP you can and use your best one handed weapon.If it is not a dagger then ignore dagger spesific passives.
After u go CI biggest priority is a 5L chest and raibowstrides to give u mana to support that 5L.Your Total ES amount should be around 4K with vaal pact.As long as u achieve that,then comes the hard part which is the dagger :/When i played this,CI and melee was considered crap,crit dagger even more so,so daggers werent that expensive.Now days the popularity has increased alot and they are harder and harder to get.

So priorities:
1)at least 4K ES,with a 5L chest and capped resists(or pretty close),and rianbowstrides to have sufficient mana.They are your biggest mana resource
2)The best dagger you can get and maligaro's
3)Magnate/auxium/dream fragments/death rush.All these are now luxuries rather than nescesities.However death rush is incredible,if u can capp your resists from the rest of your gear.I currently do not use it,because i can't :/

Now if you don't want to flicker right away,which is advisable and use double strike until your DPS is high enough(thats the best thing to do),rainbowstride aren't that mandatory.Some good rare ES boots will do,and be sure to get rainbowstride wen you feel you are ready to start flickering

Hey mate!The new DPS is right in the front Page.It is posted without abyssus,which is my current playstyle,except the last screenshot that was taken with abyssus :D

As for the wealth,well previous wealth since now everything i got is a few alterations :P,it was some killer RNG the last 2 months.I didnt flip anything,cause i hate it and suck and trading,it was just selling pure self found items.Breaking it down

-Legacy Kaoms-dropped in lunaris while leveling my templar-sold for alot of exalts + a legacy Auxium :D
-Perfect cast speed void battery-dropped in a percint map-sold for 18 exalts
-323 physcal one handed sword-dropped in a bazaar map-sold for 10 exalts
-My previous dagger that was also self found,had droppped in piety lunaris-sold for 30 ex,could have gotten more from it,but was in a rush and was sold to a friendly person
-Chanced a soul taker-legacy one-given as a gift to my cousin.He gave 15 exalts to help me get that mirror

Thats how i got the mirror.Also dropped a Lioneyes and a 6L widowsilk robe from a temple map,that i currently try to roll :D

I used my free respec on my 92 witch to spec into a similar build as this. I made some changes such as dropping damage for mana and well... that's really about it. I still get all the main dmg nodes and crit nodes, just skipped a few at the shadow start.

The Alphas Howl is working great for me... I use a low level clarity, not sure if I need to level it a bit more or maybe drop it all together. With "influence" I'm hoping the auras I run are quite a bit more effective, mostly the level 22 hatred and discipline. I should have enough mana to run them all without a problem. The "can't be frozen" and "chill avoidance" with the 8% reduced mana reserved is awesome. It allows me to run death rush at least :)

For those of you running level 20 flicker in a 6L, what is your mana cost? I need to stay a bit above that and stack regen, but so far I'm having no problems spamming flicker like crazy :D

(Going for a pair of perfect 100 mana rainbowstrides)
(Viper Hold ring is from a few of my other builds, but the resists really help!)

(White dagger dropped in Sarn so I used an alch... gave more dps than mightflay so I wielded it ...lol)
(Rathpith sucks, had no other ES shields to test with)
(5L isn't horrible... but I plan on getting 6L with more ES)










*edit* after reviewing your passive tree... I was dropping too many crit/dmg nodes so I took off the dualist mana crap and picked up another 20% mana regen and 2% mana leech node. I think I may have fixed it :) I also grabbed some accuracy nodes, since I lack some on my helm.

I also used hatred and discipline which aren't level 20 yet, but will be 20+2 and will hopefully give a noticeable bit of es/dmg since the aura buff and the 'influence' passive. Wow man,perfect death rush,perfect maligaro's,perfect magnate,perfect chayula and Dat ring :D.Crazy.If u can sustain the mana with such a fast dagger on a 5L,u won't have troubles on a 6L with 1.47 dagger,your good to go

Edit:Your tree is exactly how i would do it,with one little change.Instead of picking 3 accuracy nods down there,i would use 2 points to get the "Depth Perception" notable up in the shadow.You also gain 12% physical this way which means MOAR DAMAGEEE.Also u save a skill point.If u feel u still need accuracy just put 1 extra 8%,but i think u d be fine
