yeah you are right, afaik adders touch is a dot with 10% chaos converted / sec

this is 20% / hit, thats nice yeah ... but overkill is overkill :P

Yeah, I don't think I would use it because of my resists. Right now I am able to run without using purity, which is great. I can use Grace or Haste instead.



I would have to use purity if I dropped a ring. I mean, if I came across one I would try it out and see if it inflated my tooltip by a bunch.. but I don't think I'll try to buy one any time soon.

How much DPS does the flat physical part give? I'm thinking of taking off Meginords to put on the new ring.

I spent everything I had (20 exalts), but it was worth it \o/ more overkill time. Just keeping item rarity for now because I am completely broke :>!

I didn't get the RRRRBG... I got RRRBBG, so I'm using power charge on crit. Almost 90% crit with charges going.

I use this belt, which is crazy... a friend gave it to me since he isn't playing standard anymore. It allows me to not have to use purity.



I can't quite tell how much the flat physical gives, because the accuracy on those rings add quite a bit too. I'll have to find a ring with just the +physical dmg on it so I can test it.


Edit: Kind of funny, a Magnate belt just dropped so I wanted to see what it did to my single target. I went from 250k to 272k... pretty crazy. Even with purity though, without that belt above equipped my resists suck.

Although with that belt I could do without the astramentis and find a good amulet with resists.... HMMM!

Thanks! And an insane belt you have! I plan to after getting the gems to level 20 and making them level 1 again! Too broke to shortcut and buy the gems <~>!

Also: Is the mana leech capped at 25% of your mana or something? To me, ever since getting a 6L, I have constantly had to use mana potions whilst flickering, which I am very lazy to do (1st world problems).

To quote the wiki about mana leech:

"The regeneration rate of mana gained from mana leech is capped at 12.5% of maximum mana per second. If you have 1000 maximum mana, and leech 500 mana with a single attack, it will take four seconds for that mana to be applied to your current mana. You always get the full amount of mana leeched, it is only the rate at which it regenerates that is capped - if you leech a large amount of mana during a battle, you may find that the regeneration continues long after the battle is over. Similar to flasks, the regeneration from leech will stop if you reach maximum mana."

So to gain more mana back faster, get more max mana. I have about 1000 max mana and can leech almost 125 a second, plus regen a significant amount too, and never need mana pots. My pots are all granite or quicksilver. Makes everything easy to have more mana, as I can run 5 auras, and am not constantly stopping my flicker, unless I want to.
