WoW guys, clearing tha map with 3.3K ES is quite an accomplishment, gratz! When i played it first time as you can see on the video,i didnt die but with 6K ES i had one REALLY close call. However i played it once more, more prepared.WIth a better ES helm(linked) and used enfeeble and endurance charges.Went pretty smoothly,no close calls this time :).Also without abyssus i soloed my way from 86 to 87 without dying once.Reflect no issue anymore.I changed abit my build, and i think it is optimal and complete this way.I will update soon
I had 3.3k es, around 10k eva and 36% block. Titty bitches didn't actually hit me as a result of Ondar's Guile. Whippings hit me for around 2.5k damage? My friend cast Enfeeble and Crit Weakness which made it a lot easier for me. There were some close calls where the RNG of multistrike went nuts.
Yeah I realized my dps is too high for me too. Even in enfeeble maps where my dps is halved I'm still one shotting monsters. With my current dps the bosses don't last one second. However I don't have vaal pact nor unwavering stance, and I don't plan on speccing them since levels really don't do anything right now (got all the important nodes).
Since I'm really quite bored in POE with nothing else to do, all my aim now is to achieve the highest possible tooltip dps (and be able to map decently).

I'm assuming that you just can't run maps with physical reflect in them?

Sure, aim for whats fun for you!I have a ton of maybe fanctional, maybe not builds that i want to try,but unfortunately not enough free time, and well,i rreally cant stand playing the questline from the beggining..
I have a 600 ES shield so the % extra bonus from shield adds more than straight up ES nodes it seems. I have regrets so still trying to optimize.
I have 7k ES and bout 80k dps. Im only 74 so at lvl 80 ill either be closer to 100k dps or go for lots more ES. Havent decided... with my build it can go either way.
Now... when i started up a physical reflect map solo... i died pretty fast.
I used my granite with +99% armour (cant remember what my armour is with it) which i thought was enough. Still died pretty fast.
I thought maybe it was because of melee splash hitting a bunch of monsters at the same time and just doing too much dmg at once. I went in again without melee splash and still died fairly fast.
Im about 68% crit... will be just under 80% in 2 levels when i reacquire the 60% crit by shadow. Bout 750% crit multi with current build...
I love this build but trying to make it so i can more easily survive reflect. Im sure half this thread is about this same topic so ill start reading through it more later.
If you don't wanna die to reflect, remove abyssus,as simple as that :)

Yeah, I map with Xymordos, he's entirely unable to run phys reflect maps and he insta-dies to phys reflect monsters unless he notices beforehand and sets up immortal call. In fact, he's even almost died to ELEMENTAL reflect mobs on several occasions just because of Hatred damage and his 1050 CritMult.

Not just that. If you don't have unwavering stance, using abyssus will guarantee you to be stunned when you get hit pretty much.
