Lv96 Poutsos' Flicker Nuke - Outdated

Thanks for the reply on my stats poutos.

Someone mentioned chayula being necessary. This build was completely unplayable without it until recently. However, once my attack speed and damage was high enough, i simply dont get hit by anything physical anymore. Everything is dead before it can swing. I havent been playing any maps over level 70 yet so this might change. All good for now though.

Also for resists, honestly i never die to anything elemental. The only deaths i have are from physical reflect, and thats when flicker goes nuts and takes me a few screens away where i have no chance of seeing the mob first. Of course im not stopping with my gear until they are maxed, but this is viable so far with lower resists.

And on the last thing, crit chance. I never use crit weakness atm. It simply wastes time casting it in 99% of scenarios. Again, this might change in later levels, but not sure. That, with the fact that if i ever get the chance ill buy a rrrrgb chest and drop crit strikes gem, means for me personally picking up some additional chance nodes would be pretty benefitial.
Hello again Poutsos.
I would like to update on my project. Its really burning close now, I can almost see the finishing line. I think this build has some insane potential.

Without further adue: my dps is now at ~242k.

I still oneshot myself atm on off-screen phys.reflect packs =)
At this zone, my lightningstrike is plenty enough to clear the level within minutes.

I hope you enjoy these numbers. As my next goal is to optimize for more survivability, to get ~5k ES and a bit more resist.

This is basically my playstyle as well. My resists are around 30% each and it's never been an issue. I only cast curse on big bosses, but they usually die as fast as the rest. Recently I got sick of flickering off screen to a reflect and collected 26% life leech and reflect became a non issue (numbers are on a previous page). I also play on Anarchy without Chayula, the only mobs that stun me are the tentacle bitches in lunaris, and the knights on some maps. I'm looking forward to a Death Rush ring most of all.

About the claws, I meant to communicate that if you have bloodseeker in one hand and a high dps claw in the other but vaal pact not specced in your tree, you only instant leech with bloodseeker, not both, which makes it pretty crappy imo.

Also, PM me if you're on Anarchy, let's run some all flicker shadow maps!

You know,I ve tried dropping chayula for an awasome crit amulet.I still do get stunned which is very annoying.U are right, that with this DPS,stuns for a split second are not DEADLY but they are annoying, and on higher level maps, they can result in a death.I recomend to use chayula for 70+ maps.I bet that u will be fine generally, with so vasts amounts of damage, but a necro Roah with vulnerabilty on a high map,can drain half your ES on a single hit.So in a situation like this,u can't afford being stunlocked, but u can afford losing about 20K dps.Of course u shall test your self and decide.

I consider lower resists, less of a trouble than stunlocks, again elemental weakness can be a tough map mod, especially paired with a boss like temple piety.I would definetely take purity over grace anytime.

I recomend to start using crit weakness.U definetely dont need it,but it is a good way to get used to using it for 6man parties on maps level 73+.There mobs have rediculous HP and even with such rediculous DPS u wont be one shotting everything.A 20/20 crit weakness literally DOUBLES your damage.

My 2 cents!Great Job there.
PS:U really need that last red socket.I checked my DPS with a borrowed tabula rasa from Dementia and my single target DPS went from 160K to 212K with chayula, meaning around 240K with a multiplier amulet. My melee splash increased from 100K to 150K,and keep in mind that your dagger is much much beter than mine!

It d be hard to do it as templar.Even though he has some nice crit nodes near him,he is very far away from dagger nods and the extra frenzy charges.I think it will work, just not as good as a shadow.

For the build you posted,u should definetely change the 5 ES nodes on the road to vaal pact for the passives besides CI,which includes infused shield with 12% MORE es.Other than that it looks like invalesco' build and while it will work,it will have less DPS(at the same amount of pasives spent),about the same amount of ES,one less frenzy charge(which is highly important for flicker strike),and i dont think that for a build that uses 3 auras, inner force is worth taking. It can definetely work, but i think it would be sub-optimal,especially for the lack of an extra freny charge.

IMO the biggest benefit youd have by going templar is the equipment. You can use a 6l ar/es chest instead of pure es or ev/es. This is signifigant because an ar/es chest is substantially easier to get 4r1g1b links on :). Youre looking at probably 25% damage increase with 4r1g1b compared to 3r1g2b.

That being said with the perfect gear i believe the shadow will always win out. Style points would go to the flicker templar tho.
I just put this together for a Templar:

http://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgUBBAcFWwV9BbUMfQ5IEHsQfxEvEZYV1xXwFkAZ1R8CJP0o-ilPKjgrCiy_LOEtHzLRMww2PTbFN0c74T7PQYdDY0VHRwZMs1AwUUdWY1bqVvVY9VnzX2pjQ2aea6xtGXBScFZw1XFNerh9435Zf8aCx4V9hq6IQohrjb-OipAbkn2X0JhvmZqaE5rPnaOdxKKjpcunCKcrpzSsZq6TtMW1BLb3tzG4k7k-uXy95r46wBrAUcEAwcXB88Lsw23GntUA14bYJNh22xrbbtvU4vfjhOQi5c_nVOn-62Pr7uwY8uHz6vVL-WP8q_4r_94=

With all the power charges and Inner Force, as well as the the Disembowling crit group, maxing crit should be very doable with this build. It also gives a lot more defense while maintaining all of the major dagger nodes and frenzy charges.
