(2) If life leech applies before damage, then the only point of it in the case of reflect damage is to heal up when you hit the next mob, take damage again, heal up again, etc BUT this is in the case of the reflected damage never exceeding 100% of your ES. In that case, you could have a 100% life leech, you still die ... is this correct or am I missing something? Asking this for double reflect situations - ie physical reflect rare on physical reflect map.

Oh, and OP, how much your gear cost in total (gcp / exalt?) Including gems / linking pieces?

You hit the mob, it reflects damage onto you and either kills you immediately if you did too much damage for your es + armour to mitigate, or you survive the initial hit and then heal up instantly. so far, i've been oneshotting myself very consistently.

Magnate's 50% charges gained + surgeon's = spam 'of heat' flasks

On a side note can anyone answer these?:-

(1) Does abyssus' extra % physical damage taken apply to reflected damage?

(2) If life leech applies before damage, then the only point of it in the case of reflect damage is to heal up when you hit the next mob, take damage again, heal up again, etc BUT this is in the case of the reflected damage never exceeding 100% of your ES. 1)unfortunately yes

2)U are right again

The only way to deal with reflect mobs is to use lightning strike. It is possible to deal with flicker strike if u relink,as i did on my video with reflect.Generally the answer to avoid abit hitting reflect mobs accidentally,is the same for avoiding desync and mana issues.Do not perma flicker.Use flicker 1-3 times tops, and then pause to use frenzy lighting strike. This way not only your mana recovers but u avoid desync,u have more control on what you hit and u get the chance to gain power charges, stack shock

About prices:
Dagger:4.5 exalts
chest:3.5 exalts
head:self found(around 3 exalts)
shield:3.5 exalts
death rush ring:1.5 exalt
other ring:3 gcp
eye of chayula:8 gcp
Magnate:4 gcp for perfect roll
maligaro's:5gcps(low roll though)
boots:1.5 exalts(aim for the highest possible roll on MANA here)

Total: around 18.5 exalts.Thats why i say it is a cheap build for end game.Sure it can be improved with a 6L and a better dagger, but 5.5k ES and 140K DPS (with the flexibility of not using abysus and having 7K ES or more and around 90K DPS)i think it is pretty good. There are much better builds out there, but this is 1)cheap and 2)has very fun gameplay

Still leveling this character but having second thoughts. Is there anyway around using eye of chayula? Would i be totally effed with just the 50% stun avoid from ci? Ive only ever used life based characters so i dont know how bad stun will be. Using a pretty sweet dps amulet right now and would hate to have to replace it.

You will need stun immunity anyway. Its either chayula or 10+ points to US. And simple math telling me that those passive points will give you more dps than your amulet.

Been playing with dps numbers in theory, and according to my math surprisingly enough it looks like my amulet gives a little more dps than the 10 passives it takes to get US. The 90 str on the way down there gives 18% damage, and with my ammy giving 12-21 phys, 57 crit multi, and some str, it could be the better bet. *shrug* gonna have to test it in game.

Another question: anyone using auxium for freeze resist?

Propably, but it is 10 points if u have iron reflexes.Other wise it is 15 points, which is next to impossible to be replaced by an amulet(at least i think so).About iron reflexes,if u dont play anarchy, where US is a must and they are on your way,i dont think they are worth taking.U need 7 points to get there and with these you can have +40% increased ES if u want more survivability which, for me is a better option. As i said before with this build,if u play carefully u die from 1)reflect,2)desync,3)one shots.More ES have better chances to prevent one shots, plus it works against spells as well. Also since this build is abit low on mana,in order to run grace u ll need either huge amounts of mana on your gear,or ditch another aura. Also since u need accuracy, which means dexterity, all these dexterity will be wasted with IR.
About auxium,it is very expensive and it doesnt provide strength that this build needs very much. Also the 50% flask charges are a huge advantage.I never had problems with getting frozen. The only situation is the graveyard mervel boss, where i have to use my crappy cannot be frozen unique boots.Otherwise, even on maps with elemental weaknes and extra damage as cold i do not get frozen too much, and when i do i take care of it with a dispell frozen flask

You can get to US from VP for 10 points, but yeah its a big waste without IR.

You really dont get frozen that often? With such low effective life, id think every potential freeze would stick.

Dunno,It is propably the relatively high strength, plus i maybe kill everything before i get frozen.

Yeah maybe you kill before you get hit. So no dream frags or auxium needed, awesome.

Well at least for me.I ve heard ppl having problems with freeze.I suggest if u have enough currency to have a dream fragments, for situational use,not permanent

Yeah this is the 6th or 7th character I've made and I'm having a hell of a lot of trouble with being stun locked in Cruel. Most of the time my builds can make it all the way to end of Merciless, but so far not this one. It's also important to note that this is my first attempt on a CI character ( other toons were high life based ) , so that's probably why I am not used to the mechanics and tactics of this build.

Is using a Dagger my best option for this build? ( Besides Soul Taker which is kind of a given lol )

Thank you very much for the build OP, it is really fun and it's such a joy getting dizzy watching your character just jump around everywhere lol.

Daggers are your best bet due to the high innate crit chance and the crit passives that are dagger specific. If you can handle the mana issue, a good dagger is far superior to soul taker as far as dps goes.

Also this is my first ci guy too. Seems eye of chayula is pretty necessary. Bought one last night for 6gcp, so they arent all thaf pricey.

Speaking of gear, lemme brag a bit.

My gear

I still lookin for better Abyssus and perfect Magnate. And my amulet is thrash tbh, but its hard to find better one, so eventually i will craft something.

Oh ye, off-colors ftw.

Gideon, now that im going Chayula, this bad boy will most likely be going on the market. Hit me up if youd be interested.
