Lv96 Poutsos' Flicker Nuke - Outdated

So, this is by far my favorite build, but I must confess, i find myself going further and further into "glass cannon mode". Doesn't help that I have abyssus. At what point is your damage "enough" per hit. It seems the only way I can hit 25k+ even with mirror'd dagger is by using abyssus making me reluctent to take it off, but i also realize i am taking a huge hit on ES by speccing into more damage to faster clear maps. it hasn't been too much of a problem, but with only 7k ES w/ disc, I'm starting to run into problems. Does anyone know average life for solo 78 maps? Normal, Magic, Rare mobs?

Without seeing your gear I can just throw some things out that helped me. If you are still using Vaal pact I recommend running warlords mark with CWDT helped keep me alive on only 5K ES, Acuity helps a bunch with reflect. if you have acuity try switching out melee splash on higher maps for melee physical or fire damage. You will hit harder that way. Thats what worked for me anyway!

Also for anyone that has not seen yet, Acuity is being made the most rare uber drop, if you dont have one, get one ASAP!

I am really glad you like the build. Now, for solo play, i feel if you have over 10K averange damage with melee splash, you are pretty good, if you also have acuity. I generally advise to not run with abysus. The item is crazy, i love it, and consider it one of the best designed uniques in the game. However, without alot of armour or something like lightning coil, it will definetely get you killed in higher level maps. The biggest source of DPS should be the dagger and the RRRRGB chest. The synergy of melee physical with melee on full life is what pushed the DPS through the roof.
I am dissapointed generally that this build, with every major patch has been more gear depended and herder to build, making it a major pain in the ass for any poorer player, while ultimately, is propably beooming stronger if you have the gear. I 'd love it if it was as easy to build as it was in the anarchy leagues where vaal pact had full effectiveness and it was really close to shadow.

Race how are you getting so little dps with mirrored dagger and abyssus? I had 24k on ambush with a binos and abyss. link your gear if you get a chance. Im guessing low accuracy and crit multi, also make sure your crit is cap/near cap

Even reflect isn't a problem if I swap helms, my only problem seems to be desync on a map boss due to having the low ES pool. Obviously only running 2 main ES items is a huge problem there.

27k per hit
209k dps w/ splash
7k ES

w/ ES helm
17.5k per hit
135k dps w/ splash
8.3k ES

I think another problem is my hate of having a setup time and having to keep power charges stacked, so I removed those from the build. This unfortunately hurts the build due to having to stack much more crit than would be needed, but it means I don't have to ever stop giving me a faster clear speed. My crit is sitting at 83% but will be maxed after the expansion. My chance to hit is 84% and should climb to 89%. Of course this assumes nothing major will happen to our gems.

Build is pretty doable on a budget, does anyone have a 1.2 tree yet? I'm new to the game so I dont know how the builder works will the new ES tree proposed reduce dps?
Also anyone wanna donate gear?

raceua your gear is pretty insane. That avuity is practically perfect. The problem is propably on the tree iguess, since you do not wanna use power chrages.


riseonix - I am glad you enjoy the build. I really wish it does not happen, but unfortunately you might hit a wall in awhile without OP gear. Anyway about donations sure.
