Respec'd my spectral throw character to this build the other day, haven't respec'd bandits yet. I'm totally trashing any map including 78s with very minimal deaths (not doing hard mods or anything) at level 86. My dagger is very awful but I seem to be able to circumvent my gear issues by playing somewhat safer and managing flasks efficiently with only a 7.1k (Per Use) Flicker Strike and 5.5k ES.
Current gear:
Priority of what I'm working towards: 300ish pDPS dagger with crit so I can swap out Abyssus -> Auxium, because freeze isn't that big of an issue for me at the moment -> 6 link Saintly Chainmail to craft -> Eternal Exalt boots for Cold resistance.
The chest is just a random 5 link I threw a few alts on to get Flat ES + Cold resistance, ended up getting (albeit useless) Fire resistance on the Regal.
The best piece I have is obviously the boots. Found them with 277 ES (114% ES, as well as the resists) and yolo exalted the hybrid roll.
Now, my question is should I prioritize my gear to get differently or am I basically on the right thought process?
I am really glad you are liking the build.Yeah though,abyssus is really a very dangerous item.You do need much more ES on your gear.Also how is the leech situation?Isnt it painfully low?

The life leech situation isn't as bad as you might think. 20/18 Blood Rage helps a ton, high attack speed (7.7aps flicker) and Power Charge management is what I believe attributes my ability to stay alive.
Mana leech is another story. I'm constantly having to manage my surgeon's sanctified mana flask but as long as I'm not playing with my eyes closed, it's totally doable.
As far as ES goes, once I get a better dagger I'll be taking off Abyssus and putting on a ~320 ES helm taking me over 7k. My chest only has 264 so I'm missing quite a huge chunk there as well.
This really is though, by far my favorite build and I've tried a lot of end-game builds this league. It doesn't even matter that my gear is lackluster, the build is just so fun I keep wanting to play it to get better gear.

That's cool man,i am really glad you are enjoying it.I remember getting frustrated alot in the past,especially with reflects :/

Just find gears with + Max Mana bro, it'll rise your mana leech rate, which is the main problem since we alway have high physical damage to guarantee enought amount of mana leeched.
Btw, since I'm too poor for a 6L chest to play this build effectively without Abyssus. I'm switching to a 5L RRRBG chest for Reave - Multistrike - Melee Physical Damage - Melee Damage on Full Life - Inc Critical Damage and use Flicker as a Power Charge generator (it still quite powerful for low map). Performance seem good so far, I guess this is the right choice for me at the moment then.

Playing with a mana flask is managable. Bought up an Auxium and Alch'd a decent Demon Dagger earlier which brought me up to 93% crit so I'm in pretty good shape at the moment.

With the gloves any form of shape of reflect is possible,i ve been doing vulnerability+reflect maps and double reflect maps.Without it is still possible but you need high ES and do some adjustments of course
