Actually, this is EB chest, not CI :)

Colours are great for Abyssus, but without abyssus, you need a blue socket for critical multiplier.

As for the colours,my personal opinion is if you do not wish to use PCoC on your flicker,red sockets are always superior to blue sockets.Melee physical/melee on full life,gives significantly higher DPS than increased critical damage,and red sockets are also more flexible ,since you can swap melee physical for life leech or even reduced mana when needed(mainly on a 6L).

I leveled with abyssus up to level 86 i think.It was extremely fun,but a pain.Especially that 85-86 level.By the time though i had a very nice dagger(self found,dropped from piety,you can find it somewhere in the first pages i think) with over 280 physical DPS and close to 9 base crit,so i could afford to lose abysus and still have high DPS(somewhat like 50K i think on 5L at the tine)

If flicker is your primary attack, LS is by far the best choice for power chages imho. Hits and builds charges faster than ST, especially 20% peircing. And free dmg from shock stacks.
