sorry, I don't realize u r talkin about only reflect map.. :P ...now all it's clear... only one more thing: the leech gem in flicker strike/frenzy setup it's for reflect map only or we need that in main setup to easy survive at the new leech mechanic? maybe for who, like me, don't have so high dps (no Qgem for now ecc...) to leech enough quantity of ES? ...apologize for asking a lot of question but I recently go crazy with this build, like it soooo much (skill and playstile) and I'm not rich at all (that's my 2nd serious char) so any passive point/gear mistake will be a little painfull to fix and I can't really try so many different items or passive build setup (don't wanna waste my currency in regret orb ^^) ...also I really like to know what I'm doing, not only paste and copy passive and gem.. so, be patient pls... :D Last edited by Rhadoo#2345 on Mar 6, 2014, 9:29:04 AM

Ty for your update. I ve been following your build and so far so good.
Can you post your current (post 1.1) gear and tooltip dps and defense? After the patch I don't get US but use eye of chayula. I feel my dps is lower partially because I am not using abyssus anymore, but now I have 7.8k ES. Do you feel any difference when running non-ref maps in terms of leeching if not using life leech? And also if you still running displine and hatred do you have mana issue when using frenzy instead of double-strike? Sorry about all these quesitons, just wanna see your opinion. Thanks again! |

I have a similar question - since the update I cannot afford to use full 5 or 6 link flicker strike - even with full mana leech gear I have (4% on rings, 2% passive, 1% on neck) I am not able so sustain attacks at all. At 4 links I am breaking even and having to use curses leaves me at 3 links.
Recoloring 5l, or even more so, 6l to 2x greens to get a slot for mana leech seems very unreasonable. |

I dont think it's possible to help you properly without that info. Most players underetimate the importance of mana management. Since 1.1, mana leech from attacks NO LONGER STACKS! Only the most powerful leech takes effect, additional hits (or hits to multiple targets) dont increase mana leech duration, the all act independantly (like Burns) and only one, most powerful effect takes place. If you dont use quality mana leech gem, all you mana leech will have the same power (20% of total mana), only durations will differ, and they will NOT stack. You will, most probably, need to have higher mana pool or free mana pool - it depends on info you'll provide IGN: MortalKombat

The setup I switched TO (the one that works for me now)
Lvl 73, Mana: 633 max / 133 free Flicker strike (before 5 frenzy charges and blood rage and curses): + Multistrike + Melee Splash (cannot afford melee damage/crit damage/power charge on crit) Damage per cast: 1841 Chance to hit: 96% Attacks per second 4.62 Crit chance: 40% Crit multiplier: 482% That is 40 mana per cast. The setup I used for leveling previously was 701/155 mana, Flicker + Multi + Splash + Crit damage + Power Charge on crit Damage per cast: 2192 Crit mult: 604% Mana cost: 57 Rest stats are same Edit: I am aware of leech changes, but I honestly did not think that would affect me this much. I kinda thought that since I am attacking all the time whether the durations stack or not should not matter to me. But what I see is a hit to how much I regen instead of how long. And i asked PHYSICAL damage per REGULAR (non-critical) hit. Your elemental damage (hatred, etc) leeches nothing, and with low crit chance you cant rely upon crits to recover mana. You can look that damage is skill's description too.
Your problem is your critical strike chance. It's just 40% - way too low. With crit chance like this, you should have enough mana leech to sustain attack from regular hits! And you, most probably, dont have enough. Having so high crit multiplier with such low crit chance is absolutely inefficient. Increase your crit chance drastically. Or increase mana leech drastically. Your mana pool is much higher, than you need, and free mana pool is pretty low. Some extra "reduced mana reserved" nodes will help, too, believe me.
