Hi been following this guide for my 1st character and it has been fun but i seem to have hit a wall, I'm currently lvl 82 and here is my gear

" Your gear is pretty damn good,you shouldnt have hit a wall.What u need is the "influence" notable and the "heartseeker".These 2 will significantly boost both your damage and your survivability.Apart from that,u are much better off with a RRRGB chest.This i will also give you a huge increase in DPS.I know this is a very hard combination,but even with your colours,do not use power charge on crit and increase crit strikes.Use one of those and then increased crit damage.If u use PCoC with lightning strike it is even better.Use both increased crit strikes and PCoC on Lghtning strike,and increased crit damage+increased crit strikes on flicker.If u manage to get better colour combination,change increased crit strikes with melee physical on full life.Eventually u will have to get a better dagger,but it is just fine for now.It is a quetion of passives,and gems choice IMO. Don't chaos weapons or armor. Only chaos maps. Just save your chaos and buy a dagger.

I understand the feeling about finding a good dagger, but you will get a dagger faster by saving up all your currency and buying one. Or by crafting one yourself, starting with a base and using eternals. You won't ever chaos one worth the amount of chaos you spend.

" Indeed. If you want to craft good dagger, you start with Ilvl79+ base, use shitloads of Alteration orbs on it, until you get top-tier %increased damage and high-tier increased crit chance or increased AS. Then regals, exalteds and eternals come into play. IGN: MortalKombat

" Thanks for the reply, I have taken PCoC off and put increased crit damage on. My old chest was G,B,R,R,R and i used it for ages while trying to get G,B,R,R,R on my current chest. I lost count with the number of chromes i spent trying to get the G,B,R,R,R combo and give up when i got my current combo. I was thinking about keeping the colour combo till i can afford a 6link. " I was thinking about doing this but wouldn't have a clue where to start as this is the first time i have played a game like this lol. |

" Well, if you need a guaranteed result, it's always better to buy an item you need. For example Bino's knife is a good dagger, or some nice rare.... If there seems to be no dagger for sale for appropriate price, you can just use Abyssus. It adds nice base damage to your weapon, so you just need a dagger with great crit chance (9.5%+), decent AS and mediocre DPS. With abyssus shitty dagger turns into cake. You can even replace Magnate with Meginord's Girdle, and get some damage on rings, for better result. As for survivability - since you're using mediocre weapon, you shouldnt oneshot yourself with reflect. Also, abyssus allows you to use RRRR gem combo, for CWDT+IC+ID+EC, which offers a perfect physical protection you need. If, for whatever reasons, you dont want to use Abyssus, then try to craft dagger yourself. But success isnt guaranteed and heavily relies on RNG.
