Lv96 Poutsos' Flicker Nuke - Outdated
I totally disagree about the Diamond Flask by the way. So did Poutsos as he shows in his guide. A diamond flask is the single best flask for flickering. It helps take down bosses about 35% faster, and thus more safely, and only bosses pose any threat at all in the end. Just get a diamond flask with defenses on it. Like this.
Mana flasks are not needed once you get to a high enough level to get more +max mana nodes and some really good rings with +mana. One perhaps in a pinch, and for that I use and get bonus drops at the same time. ~~~Build - Flay's Flicker Finder - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/733257~~~ ~~~Shop - Flay's Fantastic Flea Market - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/631082~~~ Last edited by Sblak#3093 on Jan 20, 2014, 11:42:50 AM

Just need to thank for borrowing some parts from your skill tree. Have a pritty good geared CI/flicker shadow but have been struggling with my specc. But now after some respeccing and inspiration from you I realy went up in both dps and def, only thing i droped was mana pool but nothing that change my game play when I had bigger mana pool then I used.
So thanks for awesome guide, and its fun to see that more people like this shadow build, even tho you die alot xD |

" Well, if there was no desync in the game, your build would probably be the best (albeit really expensive). Sadly, it exists, and with your AS, you are much more vulnerable to it. You are also more vulnerable to reflect. I prefer to have a bit more ES buffer for such a case As for bosses: You kill bosses with your absolute offence, killing them before they can use use deadly abilities (stunning and freezing in the process). But this isnt the only way. CI melee can also kill bosses with absolute defence, being immune to any damage all the time. No matter, how hard boss hits, when you're immune, you cant be hurt by their deadly abilitied and cant die. Absolute defence build wasnt shown in any thread, but it possible, futhermore, crit-based CI melee perfectly fits it. Both ways are viable, of course. @mortalkombat
I actually think that going defensive is much less frustrating and totally viable. Even more viable for a leveling build. But it is slower and I am impatient. I think that going offensive leads to better ability to mf. Because you have more after you sacrifice some to IIR/IIQ. I just want to make sure everyone knows the options so they can choose the one that fits the best. It is obvious from your posts that you know your build well. Good luck. ~~~Build - Flay's Flicker Finder - http://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/733257~~~

How much ES should i have before going CI and taking the ES nodes?
Right now i am running life build but i can get killed in 2 - 3 hits in maps (2500 hp) CI would solve it? |
|
as described in first post 77lvl should be ok.. i've made transition at 77.. you should have at least 3k ES buffed for low lvl maps ..
