Weirdest logic I've ever heard. Got one shot and you think he has more than enough defence? You know what I do when I have no idea how hard a mob hits? I do everything I can to increase my defences. Unused granite? Check. No endurance charges? Check. No enfeeble? Check. 'Enough defence' is using everything available to you, not getting in melee range of one of the hardest hitting physical attacks in the game without IR, granite, endurance charge, enfeeble. It was very reasonable to expect that he might die without those things.

The Rogue Exile information and update is very useful for Anarchy players, including me.

Reducing Brutus's and Kole's damage will allow for slightly less emphasis on Enfeeble, granite flasks and endurance charges. Though in my case, I popped decoy totems and slashed them from their backs. Thanks for fixin Vaal Oversoul's life bar too. Saw it while it was underground yesterday. I was quite surprised and amused at it.

Bandits need to be fixed, especially since players might side with them and they can't full clear the area without killing all 3 or getting someone who has killed the bandits to party with them. Maybe cancel out the appropriate number of monsters to kill in the respective area once a player has chosen to side with one of the bandits?

Um, didn't he have only like 5k AR or something? That's a meh granite flask. As everyone else has pointed out:

1) No end charges
2) Very low AR
3) No granite flasks
4) No defensive curses
5) Did not use immortal call

Seems to me like he had 0 defense. Kripp *should* have known better. RIP, but still. Quit defending someone who screwed up.

Nerfed because it was actually too high. After the monster damage reduction, I thought Brutus/Kole was too wimpy and turned it up before 0.11.0. That turned out to be too high, and it wasn't just Kripp that was taken out by this particular boss.

It will still be dangerous.


whaaaa... what made you consider them too wimpy? Are there other monsters that you decided that needed a damage buff?
Great patch! I like the way you guys have programmed AI on those rogue exiles. I would like to see similar behavior with map bosses instead leap slam spam.

I still think you guys should pay attention to melee survivability. Especially for builds that do not use Immortal call or do not stack AR via Iron Reflexes & Evasion. It is not right that the best way to survive as a pure melee character is to select 6 of those buff duration nodes, have endurance charges and try to keep Immortal Call up all the time.

Why not do same for all weapon effects? Why i need pay twice if i want do same effect for both weapons?

I'm glad there will be more rogue exiles now. I have yet to see one since last weekend. :D

You guys have to remember that the game is still in the process of being rebalance. Stuff will get changed all the time. Just because you can survive Kole with so and so combination for example, it doesn't mean it's ok because you are using your play style as the benchmark when it shouldn't be.

Very nice changes loving the gameplay!
