This build is very good, but very expensive.

Indeed, Springleaf is way better than RotF and cheaper, but you need good gear to make it work.

It seems like this build goes through a lot of hoops (and 8 passive nodes) to get that extra regen.


I dont "stand in the fire" with a build like this, but send out my sporks and zombies to take the face full of pain in my place, alleviating the need to have that eye of chayula neck.

I use instead, which gives regen to me AND adds a good chunk of fire resist (the only resist we really need, as again, I dont take it in the face, my totems and minions do).

Imho, take those 8 passives and get some moar deeps (Im looking at throatseeker nodes esp), grab some ES nodes for more shielding (shield es nodes in top left and the overall es boosts in the bottom right), or fill in resists if you really need them (many +% resist nodes within grabbing all over).

I dont really get the need to go this way unless you were trying to keep a bit more iq/ir from your neck, and that at a waste of 8 passives is just insane.

So you are saying, that you don't see a way to improve my build/character ?

About my shield, i already tried 500ES shield & ROTP, but the 6% regen is so imba that the others shield are not better... :/

So the only way to improve my character right now is to find more iiq/iir/es, and why not add some DPS ( switch my 100% spell / 60% cc for a 100% spell / > 60% cc / %fast cast )

Hi, does the burning damage output by RFire notably affect the IIQ IIR applied to monsters killed by it's dot burning affect?

Also, I just got a spell totem (I am lvl 33) and when I summon it the monsters attack it and it dies, in all of the videos I've seen, the spell totems aren't getting attacked and don't even display a life bar, so what's wrong with mine?

MF = Magic Find, As seen in most games, like seen in D series. But here in POE people define it as iiR and iiQ, which stands for Rarity and Quantity of items droped.

I find that eye of cheyula is extremely versatile and should remain instead of the araku tiki regen neck. it cuts righteous fire damage by 20% thats huge. i have inner force and righteous fire more than doubles my dps though. I find that in maps with anything that lowers resistances or resist caps that you have alot of problems keeping righteous fire up. atm I traded my eye of cheyula and im using araku tiki until i can find a way to trade for another. I didnt use springleaf for long, i will try it out again but since i am using dual andvariuses keeping that 88 fire res caped is important. I have ~700 hp without the eye of cheyalu so RF hits pretty hard. I dont have a shavves yet though so i can get one shot by chaos.

doing the math Rf hits me for 826 dps with no resists and no cheyula
after purity and springleaf = 165
after purity and RotP = 99
cheyula and no resist = 655
cheyula after purity and springleaf = 131
cheyula after purity and RotP = 78.6

Dont underestimate the cannot be stunned thats on cheyula. I guess it wont matter with shavvs but if you get stunned near a mob that shoots chaos dmg your dead.
My ES regen with auras is 128.7 ( only 2300 atm with soul mantle) I have found after a certain gear level that your ES gets high enough and its more beneficial to reduce the RF damage.

btw my tooltip dps with RF is 1227.7 with lvl 18 spark and no quality gems. Iss that lower or higher than you guys? My crit is really low as I dont have any crit or crit multiplier nodes.
I guess it worked out that my gear has no crit whatsoever. My wand is an 88 spell damage rare with 18% lightning damage and +84 mana. I am still using static blows
