Path of Exile 0.11.0

Meh. New leagues seem OK, nothing special, challenges seems like a waste of development time, they don't reward us at all either, and no a "sense of accomplishment" is not a reward, it would of been better to develop a full achievement system with rewards for some things than just release this as a "test". And by rewards I mean cosmetic things, things on the same level as micro-transactions but only obtainable by completing that achievement. The new base items cool, the fact they only drop in special leagues that most people won't care about, not cool. The re-balance of HP and monster damage is a waste of time, all you have done is lower the numbers, you have not made it any easier or harder than it currently is (And please, do not fucking nerf things again for the casual moronic plague, that isn't what this game is and you have said that since day 1, it's not D3). The new currency orb seems cool I guess, just makes it easier to get good items though, again, not really needed. And the health bars are cool.


Also those challenges are fucking terrible. Reach 60 in every class? Use 1 of each map in the device? Receive 34 specific items from vendor recipes? Own a specific set of uniques?

Honestly, those challenges are absolutely fucking TERRIBLE. Abysmal even, what a joke. They are leagues because people want to compete to be #1, not level 1 of every fucking class to 60. And then you want people to use one of every map, how do you expect most people to even get the higher tier maps? How do you expect that to happen when at the same time they have to level one of every fucking class? Then there is the uniques, nobody is going to fucking trade them when they want them themselves, you would have to be incredibly lucky to find them yourself.

I'm not even going to bother playing with the challenges, the only reason to play these is the items that only drop in a specific league, which btw is a bad idea too.

Did you guys ever consider just making the monster pack sizes less and the individual monsters more significant. This would fix the desync issues and keep the game challenging. A good example of games that implement this style of play is demon souls or dark souls.

Well anyways I like the coming patch and think it'll be interesting.

1) your freezing issue sounds more like something on your end, as im using an integrated graphics card here with 4gb of ram. and idk what you mean by stretch but it sounds like your going full zoom instead of overhead view. pretty sure full zoom was more meant for checking out your character rather than point blank gameplay.

2) the stuff about players getting hacked, hasto do with them not locking down their end, GGG has already made it so you can set home computer address and whatnot, at least thats what they said. this supposedly means if anyone tries to log you in from a location other than your own it will lockdown. you haveto understand, anyone can say they had so and so and report a hacking, and im pretty damn sure very few other games will do a full restoration of lost items if such a thing occurs.

3) desync is always being worked on, shutup about it already, sick and tired about restating old facts everyone knows exists, its beta and will get better over time. would you rather one of the other gaming methods? where if no signal gets to the servers no action is taken period? meaning instead of the game trying to accommodate your desired movements it says stfu no signal no action.

Not being rude, just stating facts that have been stated a hundred times over. its beta, there will be bugs.

Awesome features, I have some concerns regarding the Eternal Orb though:

- do you guys realize that, with sufficient funds, you will now be able to craft perfect items?
- because of this fact I think that the only effect this will have is that the rich get richer.

Thumbs up for Anarchy though and I love the fact that Blessed Orbs will rise in value.

The argument is invalid it's beta anyway. There are many unbalanced features anyway like, Choas Resistance, PVP etc.


I would prefer something like Anarchy HC->Anarchy Default--->Default after league ends.

What I'm most concerned about, is EB builds. I had planned to make an EB Templar, and just barely be able to run a level 10 Arctic Armor with EB, now with reduced ES the mana pool will be even less.. Will Arctic Armor's mana drain, or EB get changed to compensate?
