Are you kidding me? I did the 3h Hc Race and the competition is extreme.

The rewards here are so much better. It's much more challenging and thus interesting to bring a charater to level 50 and above in Hardcore, and to get even 75 random currency items is well worth it, imho.

Being in the top ten players is out of reach of 99% participatns anyway.

I'm really disappointed I didn't see the rules of this race earlier. I thought the rewards would have been limited to the only very best.

Next time I guess. :(

I just got one shot at lvl 69 while doing a map, I don't know why there was such a peek of damage, my guess is I got hit by multiples mobs at the same time, it was really instant

I guess I'm going to play an alt to 30, but it doesn't feel really good to die so close to the end
My previous death (at lvl 59) was against Oversoul, while phase-running, I got hit by 3 rocks in less than 1 second
I think my next name will be threeprojectiles.
I got 2 gcp in a row, so I guess it was to balance the luck
Technically they were throwing rocks, so I could keep it

Im kind of running out of maps, I hope I stay in the top 5 though. Maps below 63 arent even worth doing at this stage.

The level 68 map was pretty fun, the boss was the same as the act 2 boss =).

Does anyone know how much 6 linked swords are worth? Found it as a drop

Here's to hoping another of these starts up soon after this one ends. Have a mara and ranger alive at 60 but met a bit of a gear wall; would definitely focus on getting one higher next time :)

P.S. judging from the Default ladder, 79-80 must be a massive grind, I'm guessing 175 maps+ (depending on size ofc).

something that interest me to the rules here:-

"All characters over level 80 will receive 1000 random currency items.
All characters over level 70 will receive 350 random currency items.
All characters over level 60 will receive 150 random currency items.
All characters over level 50 will receive 75 random currency items.
All characters over level 40 will receive 25 random currency items.
All characters over level 30 will receive 10 random currency items."

Does this mean we MUST be OVER level XX (aka level XX+1), to receive the event rewards?

I really enjoyed the "race" aspect to this, not because I was trying to win, but because I felt like I was playing for something other than just leveling/ gear grinding.

I hope they post a new extended race league very soon after this one ends.
