0.9.11 Two-week Hardcore Race League

All characters over level 80 will receive 1000 random currency items.
All characters over level 70 will receive 350 random currency items.
All characters over level 60 will receive 150 random currency items.
All characters over level 50 will receive 75 random currency items.
All characters over level 40 will receive 25 random currency items.
All characters over level 30 will receive 10 random currency items.


Does that mean one has to be level 31 to be eligable to get the 10 random currency items? Or does that mean "30 and above"? Just to be sure where to stop when the race ends, no need to die trying to get 41 if 40 is enough, for example :-)

I have a question and suggestion to the Statistics section. Are the values only for living characters or are dead chars included? It would be great to see both values. So we can differentiate between difficult classes and just rarely played classes.
It seems to include all chars that are listed in the top-2000 (length of the csv-report) of all actual leagues, and all events - both since the statistic has begun.

Dead HC chars are therefor not included, since they dont be listed in the ranking anymore.

The class distribution within a league is the only chance to speculate on their difficulty: you can see how many of each class is in the rankings, and you can sort the list by class to see how they are positioned.

I'd expect that reaching the listed level (and staying alive until the end) ist enough to get the prize - that's the same way as its handled at the weekly races.

There's no other way to handle chars in the database of POE (where all information comes from) actually. Chars in finished events or leagues stay in the statistics, even if they are deleted - cause the end result is kind of frozen and not updated anymore. All running events or leagues will be refreshed with actual data continuously after some time (3 minutes?)

What_Life ironically has the lowest play time in the top 10 (by 15 hours), the only play time which is lower than mine.

I wasted about 8 hours or so in level 70-71 farming pyramid for maps where I shouldnt have had to. Darn my lack of time to try and compete with the higher ranked guys :C.

But holy hell, by 15 hours?! Well i'm no good at no-lifing apparently. *sadface*
I always thought the future depended on the choices you made.

This is nice idea. We will add some statistics about deaths in near future. For example how many deaths per class or their average level.

Hey Devs.... here's some feedback for you to chew on. Seriously, what in blue hell is the point of Hardcore races(or Hardcore in general) when a common case of SERVER-DESYNC can ruin all your effort and hours played, NOT legit death to mobs as intended?? I died 3 g'darn times because what was on my screen was not really where my character was located in your game data...WTF(and no my internet doesn't suck its top of the line and I'm east coast us)

What irked me the most was when I asked about how to report this issue for resolution specifically in The Prison, Vaal Ruins, and Ancient Pyramid I was told you can't report such specifics as "Server Desync" is all-present globally in poe and to just accept it.

Well, thanks for forcing me to bind Alt+F4 to my mouse button, as that's the only solution currently against playing hardcore desync and surviving, GG
