Pro ffa'ers are so butthurt by the manifesto. Your tears taste salty & good.

Thank the lord GGG have decided not to listen you guys & have decided that the community at large is more important. & yet pro ffa'ers still try to come across as vitriolic about the decision saying "oh well, they just ruined the game".

Do you really think GGG would change the game just to ruin it? Come on now, the decision was made due to the community outcry & internal discussion, not because GGG suddenly decided to sabotage their game.

Carry on.

What a bitchy comment.

Tears taste good? What tears?

Its like taking a shit on the floor and some guys says.

"OMG theres shit on the floor".

You come in and say.

"Your tears taste good"..

LMAO?? How does that even make sense.

If anything you kiddies that CRIED for days and days and days and DAYS on end changed the game. Basically, if you drown GGG in enough tears they will listen just to shut you babies up.. They sure as hell don't like the taste of your tears which is why they changed it.

It would be funny as hell if GGG decides not to go through with it tho. Since it hasn't happened yet. If i was you id shut your mouth before you ruin it...lulz.

Actually, it was you.

You, spewing endless drivel, mindlessly, pointlessly, hour upon hour, day upon day, week upon week in tireless, reckless abandon. You, flinging vulgarities and inanities, over and over again, insultingly, deprecatingly, disgustingly, to anyone who would dare question your wisdom. An incarnation, a living, breathing symbol of the vile mentality both enabled and encouraged by the current loot system. A standard of comparison for all those who would deign to stand in its favor. A poster child. A lightning rod. You.

Surely no voice of reason, no stirring speech by those of us who would speak in favor of fair play, could ever possibly compare to the efficacy of the model you have put so much effort into constructing. To demonstrate so relentlessly the absolute baseness of the true character of the stereotypical ravenous, rabid pro-FFA player has been a truly unparalleled accomplishment in our favor. And so I salute you; I applaud you; and I thank you, with deep and heartfelt sincerity, truly, with every ounce of willpower I might muster forth, for your masterfully astounding achievement.

You have changed this game for the better, Vooodu. Not just in spite of your best efforts; but because of them. Keep up the good work.

No tears, I look forward to pure FFA.

Hey I am as pleased for you as I am myself. We both get what we want which is what I have advocated all along. Unfortunately this thread has attracted mental degenrates to the point where our old CB conversations look like a dialogue between Einstein & Sir Isaac Newton.

Ofc you should be happy that you will be able to play FFA unrestricted but apparently "noone is ever going to play ffa again after the patch", so who knows.

I wish I could share SL4Y3R's optimism, unfortunately, I do not see any reason why people will opt to play FFA in public games. Distrust of strangers, and not having to pay attention to loot while fighting is a major incentive to go the easy way, especially in HC.

For many of us then, 95% of the games available are going to shift to a longer timer, for no reason other than to satisfy those that seem to hate the games original design and intent of loot tension.

Private games are another issue; options for pure FFA would be fine there. However, in games among friends, we would just share the loot anyhow and all the FFA setting would do is save some time – it would make very little difference how long the timer is anyway.

I don’t think it’s possible for GGG to give us options and then take them away without a shit-storm of protest, you just don’t give a baby candy and then assume you can take it away – if they give a timer that is full ‘no tension’ and people get used to it, it’s over. We will have a loot system much worse than d3’s instanced at that point, and the very best part of this game IMHO will be lost.

If there really are a reasonable number of public FFA games I will have no complaints, but I don’t see that as being very likely. If so, these changes for many of us will equate to a lengthening of a timer that is already too long. Once given, GGG won’t be able to take the long timer away, and this game will be fundamentally changed in a major way from its original design.

IF you want to play a public FFA game AND there is no public FFA game available THEN you can create a public FFA game.

IF at that point nobody joins your FFA game THEN there really wasn't that many people who wanted it in the first place AND all your commentary about how it was a vocal minority who wanted longer timers or looting options is completely turned on it's head.

The scenario where a vocal minority (wanting longer timers) ruins the game for the vast majority of people (wanting FFA) by forcing pure FFA to be an option, but not the only way to play simply does not exist.

I really don't understand this line of reasoning. Why can't YOU make a FFA game everytime YOU play in a party, then everyone that joins will know it's an FFA game. In that situation YOU will never have to play an none-FFA game & for YOU the game will become 100% FFA.

You are acting like your only option will be to join other people's games who have set it to none-ffa...why can't you just make your own game?

Durh, i dunno.. Its not like the guy posted his reasons over and over again.

why wont people just play solo? I play solo, because I am too lazy to deal with ninjas or people bitching and crying about ninjas, (besides there are just too many optimization problems in parties, like summoners with flame sentinels)

I always hated looting wars, but then, I've always had a horribly slow internet connection.
I don't see any reason a party couldn't opt for pure FFA looting, besides the difficulty in implementing such an aspect.

But, for me at least, I'm really glad they put these loot timers in. Partnering with strangers kind of sucks most of the time anyways. No one ever speaks, they rush to objectives and leave you in the dust. They won't send portals if you ask them...might as well be bots TBH.

I enjoy the social aspect of the towns though.
