After all, it´s closed beta, ins´t?

And this is the biggest problem with the current loot system. Every time you lose a chaos orb you feel entitled to take from someone else. This behavior places needless strain upon the player community.

Nope, I don't.

I just play the game dude.

He is not talking about you. Don´t get it personal.

He is talking in a general sentence.

Didn´t you see that?

They want the players to be competitive with monsters and against each other.

The game appears to be failing on this front. If it was so important to GGG that we be competitive against each other then I don't know why they are fine with so many of their players completely avoiding this kind of competition.

Kicking someone from your party can be considered competitive. If you feel that they are slowing your progress, boot em.

Booting people is now a part of the competition? How very strange.

Yes, statement was supposed to be general. Should have used the royal We.

Not gonna get you wrong, it’s pretty clear.

You seem paranoid about some random person taking something that you imagine to be yours that you probably don’t really need. Because of this crippling paranoia, you are afraid to even meet people or earn anyone’s respect and therefore complete your self-fulfilling prophecy of “bad design”.

Very often the best items in the game are crafted – crafted from white items that nobody picked up and from alteration or alchemy orbs that can be crafted from other junk that people don’t even pick up.

There's a hell of a lot of assumptions in this post.

I'm not taking anything personal.........

Perhaps I should have used the royal We. As in most people just play the game and enjoy it how it is and don't get overly serious about losing hundreads of chaos orbs over the course of time because its just a game.

Text makes things look funny and inherently takes things out of context (pun?)

I'm only defending this form of gameplay not advocating change.

Point being game is infact co-operative the way it is.

Wow this is so sad....so when my friends ask me wtf PoE is i'll say its, "a non-co-operative game that you play with other people".

Just add loot options...by default you will be competitive unless you change the loot rules how hard is that ?

the game is about killing shit. when you kill items drop. you cooperate to kill stuff not help your buddy pick up a freaking maul

Cooperating to kill the enemies and then immediately competing to pick up the loot is counter intuitive and strange.
