Well your point is quite good actually, i've been thinking about the last levels that are up to come and where to go (in passive tree) and there's really not many options. Either it's dps nodes, 18% increased aura effects or 50% more armour. I have eyed those Endu nodes for days honestly, but in my case, it's mostly, that i'm too lazy to cast anything else besides curse(s) (Enfeeble) and only place where I'd need those Endurance charges would be 74 map Vaal. We just played the 74 Maze Map and it had Vulnerability mod.
As the knowledge raises, this time i took granite flask with 94% armor and Ruby flasks with me, the hit was almost hilariously low when i drank Ruby Flask + Granite of iron skin, "only" 1800 es gone and rougly 800-1000 hp, so i was left with almost 3k hp :p

And things you should be afraid of, here's a list of where i've died on higher levels (haven't died since 87 level, 91 now krhm krhm, knock knock)

#1 Lightning Thorns, it used to be really harsh before the 11.2 patch, but now it feels very very easy mod, as does Elemental Reflect, but i'm not 100% sure about those, so pay extra attention when you see either one of those, Blackguard Mages who cast the lightning thorns, always used to mean trouble, atleast 2-3 weeks ago.

#2 68 Springs map with "Area contains two unique bosses". Don't stand still when you have killed the first boss, the second boss will use corpse explosion on it and it WILL 1 shot you if you don't block it, been there :p

#3 74 map Vaal smash will 1 shot you if you don't have: 5k combined Life + ES and 50k+ armour, the life / es could propably be a bit lower under some circumstances; You have Ruby flask for 10% max resist, you have 5x Endurance charges on, but HC char, I still wouldn't take the shot :p

#4 High level maps with -max resistance, that alone is really hard vs certain bosses and on top off that mod, you can add extra % damage as any elemental. And the list goes on, those 2 alone are in my opinion the hardest damage dealing mods.

I'm just uploading a video to youtube from today, 76 Crema boss with -17% max resistance and 98% extra dmg as lightning, i must admit this was THE hardest fight i've ever been into and made it quite, well not sure if it was easily, one time it was THIS close that i died, propably 4-5 hits came through the block. (Can't coun't 74 Vaal smash as hard fights, when i've been there way too undergeared, as they've been just Baaaaaaym! <<resurrect>>)

Overall, everything that affects your resistances, you have to pay extra attention at all times, difference between 60% resistance vs 80% is so massive i can't even explain it. Like some of you saw my last vid of Unwavering Stance test on 76 Crema boss, it was like a walk in the park right ? The next video i'm uploading currently truly shows what the -resistance and added % ele dmg means.

And finally choice of potions for those resistance shitstorm maps would be:

#1 Instant Recovery Heal pot
#2 Added % ele dmg map mod pot
#3 Added % ele dmg map mod pot
#4 Ample Granite Flask of Iron Skin or Warding (curse dispel, depends what's the boss)
#5 Ample Topaz Flask of Grounding (Extra Charges + Dispels Shocked) Always keep this with you, if you get shocked in these resistance affecting maps or any maps and rush for next fight, you're gonna get hurt, badly if you're unlucky blocking.

Yeah, I decided to clean my Freeze Pulse (sold 6L Shiver + Kaoms), to buy this stuff for Infernal Blow.

My normal potion look like this:

If I got some other modifier, Topaz or Ruby Flask.

I´m now 87 and I took 2 Endu charges in passive. I´m not sure if I need them but with the next level (1+ Endu charge). I reach the point of 90% Dmg Reduction without Granite flask, and I think 12 seconds Immortal Call.

I also got 75+ Chaos resist on merciless, so I take Blood Rage. Chaos Dmg = no problem (doesnt do any dmg).
And the great part is: 3x Frenzy Charge + Life Leech, so you maybe need no Life Leech Gem on your sockets?

I played yesterday a bit anarchy, some 73-77 maps with my other character. Oh man... after I played this meele, all other feel so weak :).

Is there any cap of max dmg reduction? I´ve got 87% with 5 Endu Charges, when I level up, i may choose the 6th one. That push me up to 90%. If i pop a granite flask its still 90%, does the more amour count if I cap 90%. Its like a push from about 18k Armour to around 40k.

Have played now some "higher" maps to try out a bit, dont wanna die. It seems that lightning thorns dont do any dmg to me, is this only because of max resist?

Well I've been at capped 81 resistances for a long time now and before the latest "big" patch lightning thorns was really really bad, but now it seriously doesn't do anything. Worst Light Thorns was the 69 Promenade map boss's, there's the swordsman and that blackguard mage, you could test there what it does, but it used to be that even normal blackguard mages who casted that thorns, it really used to hurt when you hitted a monster who had it on.. Now it's like nothing.

I was just in 74 Maze Map Dual Vaal bosses and kept spamming Enduring Cry and getting high from Granite Flasks, i must say that Enduring Cry is pretty decent, only problem is when 2 people leave to town, 2 are leeching for loot, not even thinking about helping Vaal, in this case, 2 Vaals, it takes quite a time to kill them, as there is good to pay some attention on what you're doing and what's going on overall, if the bosses are close to each other. And one thing that slows down also, is that Granites run out quite fast and you just have to wait for Vaal spawning the lurkers to refresh potions, took almost 20 minutes to kill those two, but well.. I hope the leechers are satisfied :D

edit. lol just found soul taker 30 minutes ago and quite nicely rolled 194% damage, 24% ias :3

Hey what would give me more Armour- the 8 and 24 percent increased evasion nodes in the ranger area or the 12 and 30 percent armour nodes? I am running grace and have bringer of rain

Hmmm, haven't tested this one out, also zero Regret orbs atm, you could test that out if you have any regrets :)

Just coloured my helmet + weapon a bit, now i've 3x Enduring Cry gems in sockets, so there's no cooldown by using just one Enduring Cry, i cast all the 3 in a row and get the charges up real fast :p
Yeah I made a slight mistake before. Would 32% increased armour and evasion give me more overall armour than 42% increased armour only?

Does anyone know the answer to this? Mad props to whoever can help me out
