The reason is, that it doesn't need mana for your attacks, and for this build it's great, because you can replace Blood Magic gem with anything you like to. It uses mana for attacks as long as you have it, but it doesn't matter if you run out of it, it still keeps attacking :)

Well it depends a bit, in rough situations i would use Life Leech instead of those, but doing runs like Lunaris 3 or so, i've always liked physical damage more, so it's just personal preference :)
well its true for high lvl maps ll would be smartest idea anyway thanks for help juhazzz im gonna try to get that axe for myself.
I just have a question, why is the face breaker version of this build give so much more dps? In the other popular face breaker 'fisting'
thread, ppl say they r hitting 20k plus dps
Mephixara // Lvl 91 Phys Tornado Ranger
Tynux // Lvl 86 DW Ground Slam Marauder
Ripheuxa // Lvl 90 KB Wander

I'm guessing it has a lot to do with gem setup. I put on facebreakers (996%) and lost about half my dps. Of course my gem setup wasn't close to optimal. Added fire dmg, multistrike, splash, IB, and blood gem. Only have a 5 link.
Facebreaker's build requires items that give flat physical damage for example

Belt gives 10-20 physical damage, which means +3-4k dps to the infernal blow with auras on.

I am currently lvl'ing this build, which I freakn love, and im wondering how much everyone paid for their aegis? just trying to see how much I need to save.
I paid 2 Ex for mine. Now it somehow shows up on poexplorer.com that i'm selling my shield, eventho the shield it shows is not even mine, it's a lot lower on incresed ar+es % than mine is, still somebody msg'd me ingame offerign 5 exalts on it, that was yesterday :)
