It (consistently) happens when there's nothing around. It has nothing to do with being interrupted.

Give us some love Rory. We know you are busy, but could you give us a little update in this post? Maybe even if it's just a "yeah we know about it, no we are too busy to work on it, but we love you and we'll get to it eventually"

I hope this bug gets fixed at 0.11.1. My Lightning Warp Witch is totally useless when this bug happens like every third cast, even without faster casting :/.

Yes, I just can warp around in the Eternal Laboratory and have that bug popping up. I only use Lightning Warp for moving around in a cool way, but I would like to create a character that uses LW as main damage skill. Currently not possible. :P

I do not use lightning warp as my main damage skill, as that would be silly. But I do use lightning warp as PART of my main damage. When I lay a spork totem, send out arc, then warp back when the horde of enemies rush me... I expect to actually warp back! It does a great amount of damage, and is very useful along with my combo.

Biggest problem, when the animation goes off... and you realize that you did not go anywhere.

Rory has already posted on this bug. But I know they are about to release another patch, and I figured I'd give this post another bump to make sure he didn't forget about us!

Shameless self bump

I experience this around 4/5 times when I hold the button which is insanely annoying. If I wait a short while before activating it again it almost never fails, like 1/50 of the times or even less.
I know you GGG people probably consider this a minor issue and it probably has a low priority but it would be awesome if you could make it work in the near future since I have a hilarious build with Lightning Warp that would be even better if I could actually warp as fast as I should be able to.
