Can someone help me with big monitor...

I am using 19" 4:3 @ 1280x1024....

Am I missing stuff on my screen? If I buy a new monitor will I see more and further away with my ranger?

This is important for me, if bigger monitor benefits the gameplay then I'll buy a bigger one (and also a new graphics card to run 3d-monitor which I will have to buy since I get headache from <75Hz monitor, meaning all 1080p+ monitors without 3D)

EDIT: Still need to find confirmation to this issue. In the FAQ it was said:
"
Our detailed art is designed to not only look great, but also reveal additional detail as the resolution is increased to the maximum of 2560x1600.

Does this "additional detail" mean you see monsters from further away (in daylight maps)?

I didn't find this basic info in the FAQs....can someone clarify for me please?

Before choosing which Pack I would purchase once Open Beta starts, I wonder what are the default attributes for a non-paying account ? How many character slots and how many bank slots ?

Just trying to plan ahead.

Thanks.
Right now I believe it is 4 stash tabs per account and 24 character slots by default. And the current supporter packs and their swag will not be available once Open Beta starts. There will be other things to purchase, such as straight points, once Open Beta starts that will allow you to buy more stash tabs and character slots.

We don't know for sure, but I remember Chris saying something about level 100 taking just as long as vanilla D2 (to 99).
I'm curious about a few points, thought I'd ask here.

1) Evasion vs. Armor. Is it best to go for both? Or maybe focus on evasion if you're ranged, and armor if you're melee?

2) Vendoring items. Is it smart to vendor magic items without identifying them, when I know I won't use them? Seems like a lot to use a scroll, then vendor the item back for less than a scroll is worth.

3) Skill gems. I'm at about level 12 and I have many choices to make about which skills to use. Is it best to go for gear that holds all your gems, to keep them leveling, or focus on 2 or 3 skills at one time? For example, I'm not sure whether lightning arrow, flame arrow, poison arrow, puncture, or split arrow would be best. I typically use lightning for groups, and flame arrow for bosses/champions.

4) Does dex/int/str directly impact damage? Or are they purely requirements for gear and gems?

5) General strategy: keep those orbs, or use them as you get them? (Obviously doesn't matter until OB, but I'm curious because I never know when to use them or how valuable they might actually be.)

Thank you! Excellent game so far, GGG!
Hmmm double posted somehow. See below

1.) Solely depends on what you want to do. You can go for both and then take the Iron Reflexes keystone and turn that evasion into armor. Or you could just use both as they are but I would suggest not relying solely on either and supplementing them with life as well so you can survive when you do take damage.

2.) This is covered in the FAQ itself.

3.) Pick what you want and level them for your build/playstyle. Never hurts to experiment or pick up extra gems for other characters you might make or for trading. Also you can use the skill gems in combination with an iron ring to get a resist ring from the vendor.

4.) Open your character panel and mouse over the individual stats and it will tell you what they do.

5.) All up to you. Some say use them while others say to keep them for crafting or trading. You could save them and then only use what you need to replace a really out dated piece of gear that is holding you back and use the rest for crafting or trading at the "end game" level.
