To participate in the closed beta, you have to use a closed beta key.
To obtain such a key, you can either buy one (or more) in the store:

The most basic package is $10.

Also, there is a free key giveaway that chooses random accounts every now and then (called the Beta Invite Timer). You can see it on the homepage.
