Game still won't open on M1 Mac...

same issue on Intel MacBookPro - was fine yesterday until the servers were shut down

I really don't understand why the client is trying to update something that is not on the system. What do we need to delete to have a new instal of the game? I deleted:
- /Apps/Path of Exile
- /Application Support/Path of Exile
- /Library/Caches/com.GGG.PathOfExile
deleted the bin - restart the mac... download the client again... and we have a loop. :/

What else??

Busted for me too.

The same issue. Macbook pro m1 pro.
Firstly deleted cashed files for update a launcher - not working.
Deleted all the data and app, reinstalled - not working
Deleted all the data, launcher, app, downloaded new launcher, installed game again - not working
40mb update -> done -> “Path of Exile” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Bin. ('move to been' or 'Done')

Reinstalling appears to only help with the Steam version.

man its sucks seeing so many people with the same issue. playing on my m1 I tried this game years ago on steam and it was too laggy, saw somewhere recently theres a standalone for mac. downloaded it a few days ago and was loving the game, ran flawlessly, went upstairs for dinner last night and when i came back it keeps saying

“Path of Exile” is damaged and can’t be opened. You should move it to the Trash.

running the client through the contents folder it boots up but wont let me login cause it says i need a patch.

my balls are breaking i was having so much fun :(

When will it be fixed? Next season is almost here and I'm so sad.
