What are people's strategies for rolling 78 maps? To me it feels like IIQ grows more important than Rare/Magic because you're not concerned with getting +1/2 maps anymore and happy with any +0/-1 map drops.

I would still shoot for magic mobs. Reason is that they drop more (ilvl79!) items and give more XP... but yeah, maps become less of a factor there.

would you guys do a map with mods like these? or reroll? (i mean for higher level maps, not this particular map)

Ahaha, nice rolls...I'd do that map, because it's ridiculously easy among other things.

I'd run that map every time.
Great great Thread, thanks for sharing so much info. I really needed it as I have only started :-)

If anyone has low level maps, don't wanna use it :P , please remember me :D.

Run or reroll? Wondering if Goatmen really is terrible enough to reroll 110?

Edit: Well I ran it and got nothing :)

Run was the right answer, because as you said, 110 is not that easy to come by. The drops, though, are still down to RNG.

Goatmen is really bad, not because they are hard but the packs are so small. Probably the only inhabitation affix that I don't like to see (ranged and multifarious are meh, all the others are good). I count it as roughly a negative 30 quant modifier, meaning I'm gonna reroll almost always unless there are several other really good affixes.

Are you sure, that pack size is the only thing, that matters? Different mobs can give different experience and have different chances for loot. Otherwise, "Area inhabited by sea witches and their spawn" would be by far the best population affix.

In my experience, goatmen even with the best pack size roll is utterly terrible. The packs are inherently small, and seem to be spread out over huge areas.

I have a theory about sea witches. They are swarmy as fuck, but they drop nothinnnnnngggg. I think what is happening with them is the big ones are spawning adds offscreen. Adds, obviously, drop nothing. It would be cool to confirm or deny this somehow...
