Well, I finally made it to lvl 78 maps after ~10 days played and approx. 150-200 maps run. Precinct was an utter disappointment despite pack size, magic mobs, and +93%qt. Risk vs. reward is completely out of whack in this game, RNG is absolute king. Didn't have to buy any maps at all and the way things look I'll be able to sustain mid to high 70ies maps with just chisels+alch and go (chaos if TC; I've grown to hate that mod) until I grind myself up to lvl 90 at which point GG.
Thanks for the guide in any case; it was a great help in getting the hang of mapping. Shop closed until further notice. Check out my Dominus musical tribute instead:

Just rolled a 36% Pack Size and 50% Magic Monsters Crematorium.
Saw a total of 5 Magic Monster packs, one including a pack that consisted of 3 Golems. First floor = 0 Magic Monsters, but a fuck ton of Rares Second Floor = One semi-sized Magic Monster pack Third Floor = 3 magic golems -_- Fourth Floor = 3 different semi-sized magic monster packs. Pretty odd really. |

Maps have a very large internal range on pack spawns, keep that in mind. You may roll the most insane map but how good those mods will be depend on your the internal rolls when the map is created.

Mm, seems so. I'm kind of leaning towards rolling maps with the highest amount of IIQ as a priority now.

" Crematorium is just terrible compared to the other 76 maps, in my opinion and most everyone I've talked to about mapping. Maybe it was different before the map change patch, I hadn't reached that high level back then. But Crema just has so many empty rooms and small rooms, it feels like there is usually half as many mobs there as in Academy/Precinct. Pack size and Magic monster mods are awesome, don't let this one bad experience keep you from wanting to roll those mods. |

What are people's strategies for rolling 78 maps? To me it feels like IIQ grows more important than Rare/Magic because you're not concerned with getting +1/2 maps anymore and happy with any +0/-1 map drops.
