3) there are good mazes and bad mazes, where good mazes are about 0.9 and bad mazes an estimated 0.3
Bad Maze: Underground Sea, Mine, Underground River
Good Maze: Temple, Arachnid Nest, Torture Chamber, Waste Pool, Cells, Maze, Necropolis, Crema, Shrine, Shipyard. At this moment we only look at Good Mazes (there are more of them and they are more important)

It is more complex than that. A "bad" maze is more strongly influenced by internal size rolls than a "good" maze will be. Thus a "good" maze has greater odds of being worthwhile as opposed to a "bad" maze where its best internals may put it on par with the average "good". Mines are extremely susceptible to this. They can occasionally turn into the biggest things you'll ever see, but you won't see this happen many a time. On the other hand..if you maze a Shipyard, the average Maze will be as big or bigger than the best Labyrinthine Mine.

Except Underground Sea. Fuck that map and Labyrinthine doing nothing for it.

I don't think across the board values for Labyrinthine/Massive is going to work. Calculating its value is not so easy, especially when you factor how they affect different maps very very differently. Some bad mazes can have a higher potential ceiling than another and the same goes for good mazes.

Tileset can also play a factor in this from observation although I would like Joel to chime in.

Demographic affixes have different weightage based on different maps. This is not an easy value to assess since I've never managed to finish the signature monster list. An example is weighing Skeletal more in a Crematorium than I would in a Shrine because Crematorium's base packs are less ideal to have. Likewise, I would value Skeletal less in a Shrine because of its native pack type.

Also factor maps like Bazaar where demographic does not affect the signature monster (statues) and will not stop them from spawning - so then it only partially influences the outcome.

I believe 3+1 is possible - seen a few - but just right now I don't have any such maps on hand. =\

Something is still wrong... When I roll s1 first, I think its probability is 0.4, but it's actually 1 for two-mod maps. This may be what I was doing wrong, not generation of sorted maps. Something to think on. I'm not PhD unfortunately, I abandoned my thesis years ago.

Pretty sure this is it actually. Combinatorics can be so annoying sometimes.

Missed me last weekend did you? It's been only a couple days, I didn't think you were getting senile yet. Come to think of it, I distinctly remember you trying to tempt me to stay around longer with that particular Shipyard. See you on the weekend, if you don't rage quit first.

In other news, I beat the Coward's Trial. Four times so far. Aurumvorax, Wanderlust, Moonsorrow and Quill Rain; 3 more to go. It's pretty good exp in the 70-74 range and crap in the 80+ range, but drops, what drops? Don't let the lack of quantity fool you, indeed. It comes by its lack of quantity honestly.

So who does solo maps? I have literally ran everyone one to completion except shrine and crematorium. I even have
but cant afford to roll them. While i have been quite lucky with map drops, my luck with other drops are subpar.

What are other people's experiences with solo mapping?

(plz dont message me, im run these solo)

Running maps solo will make you go broke. Guarenteed.

You can't sustain maps without a large currency pool.

The point of a group is that u run more maps for less input.

Heh solo mapper.
