I said the Diff on HC is good as it is atm.
The diff on Softcore is a bit easy, os they can Up the diff there.
I didn't said HC should be easier.

As for cutthroat thx for the info mate.

There is no difficulty difference between Default and HC, the only difference is that in HC if you die well you get sent do Default. So if you were to up it in only Default then there would be a difference.

Then you haven't played HC mode yet it seems.
The HC mode diff is higher, the enemies deal more dmg, if something.
At least it seems harder a lot.

They are exactly the same in all aspects other than the death penalty. Damage, defense, loot, etc. are all the same.

Wanted to express about loots, now we see that 99 % of players don't want to play in cooperative with unknown people, the main reason to it possibility to steal loots. Yes, probably with friends you agree and divide finds, but it is not always convenient to wait while your friends will be Online, it would be desirable to be connected to the unknown company and without problems to run about with them.
The competitive mode in this situation is necessary to nobody т.к it only irritates and does game in cooperative not favorable from the point of view of collecting necessary things.
In my opinion, the most successful decision in many similar games - personal loots for each player which they can will share if necessary.
Or, when things on the earth, within several seconds, belong to the specific player, and after the expiration of time becomes the general, - if the player doesn't wish them to select, or if he throws a thing on the earth.
Generally, anyway, the system should stimulate cooperative game instead of resist to it.
I suggest own loot, only you can see your's and only you to be able to pick your's. While in group all items after blue color will be displayed in chat if droped eventualy.
This you can see if it drops a bow in the guy next to you so you can offer him a trade for the axe that you got, but he didnt.

We don't care if all the rest of Path of Exile is light-years beyond anything else ever created; without instanced loot, we simply won't play.

If you developers decide that you are definitely not going to implement instanced loot, please delete my account and give my beta key to someone else. Thank you.

Dude ... really?

There's always going to be someone. Trying to be a hardass without even making a point in why they feel it matters.

Get out of here, man. If you're going to be like that about this type of thing, there are going to be a hundred others just down the line. GGG is not here to please every person's outright demands or ultimatums.

Go ahead and leave if you want to; the rest of us will enjoy knowing that GGG are making games and sure, taking opinions into account, but not beholden to some whiny kid's stamping feet.

Yes, dude, really. I've been playing multiplayer games since DOOM in 1993 (and games on home computers since 1978) and I've never before seen a game with so much promise, yet completely ruined by one overwhelming but easily fixable flaw.

I thought the reason why it matters was already well enough explained by others on this thread, but I'll reiterate for you since you don't seem to have noticed: Competition for loot creates winners and losers, turns friends into foes, discourages grouping, and makes PvE into another kind of PvP. In short, it totally breaks the game.

If you can't handle my expression of my opinion without sinking to name-calling, perhaps it is you who should "get out of here, man."

Well, here you might actually have a point. Thank you for making that point in a way that is not an ultimatum issued toward GGG.

Now, perhaps you'd like to join a discussion where we discuss alternatives to try to work with the majority of people's desires?

FFA vs. instanced loot as an option?

Loot that is visible but semi-transparent and cannot be grabbed by ANYONE for, say, 2 seconds?

See, as much as you NEED instanced loot, many others NEED FFA. Now that we're actually discussing it instead of making demands of the developers, maybe we can get something accomplished.

You didn't express your opinion, you were being an ass. There's a difference.

You threatened to leave if the creators didn't do as you downright insisted. If that's your attitude then, yeah, f**k off. If it's not, and you'd like to talk about it and sure, share your opinion on why it matters to you, but without being a dick, then hell yeah, rock on, and I look forward to the conversation.

I'm not sure about this. You may have a point, but most people I play with don't really care so much about that. If something really cool pops up, we'll say something.

Sure, there should be a way to address these concerns, but forcing instanced loot on everyone is probably not the best way to go.
