Your post was predictable and yet no less sad to read.

Look at the player counts for the most popular leagues (Ritual and Ultimatum) and ask yourself how those leagues differed from this one.

The FUN in this game comes from blazing through screenfuls of mobs, feeling the wind in your hair. The community is telling you, over and over, we don't enjoy fighting one beefy mob for 5 minutes hoping it has the right slot machine combination to drop divine orbs.

We understand POE1 is fast and POE2 is super slow and you have 1 year to bridge the gap and this forced shackling is killing the fun.

Nothing about crafting? Why you removed prefix/suffix crafts or jewel implicits?

Nothing about Divine Orbs wrecking the economy and halting trade and craft volume in both league and standard?

As usual, when your team makes a change, they turn ALL the knobs instead of one at a time and this keep leading to disaster.

This is the Nth league where your balance team messes up so bad you spend the next few weeks apologizing, doing podcast service, and rebuffing things.

If you really feel the game is in a good spot after the recent updates, then you have truly lost your mind. I don't play anymore, but there are enough videos/clips showing loot drops after the changes, and it's extremely lackluster.

Item crafting is completely dead and standard is having a market meltdown.

The reversal of Exalts and Divines was a good idea in theory, but it's too much and must be looked at again before the next league, if not sooner.

I still don't like AN reward changes. You can if all stars align get multiple Divine drops as you mentioned in your post, but it's so unlikely that most players will not see that happen. Right now the rewards will feel like crap most of the time and it feels not worth the effort it takes to defeat rare monsters. It's as likely to find an AN rare drop multiple Divines as it is to find multiple divines from a strongbox. Yes, it can happen, but it's not something most players will ever find during a league.


There are honestly too many things wrong with this game still, that I could not in good conscience recommend anyone play this.
What's the possibility of spawning a four-mod monster? Does it scale with quantity or monster pack size?
It's so frustrating to loot 0 alc after running an alc&go map
I've been playing daily, all sorts of content. I've never juiced, only alch/chisel/corrupt normally.

I've noticed that loot is somewhat back to where it was last league, at least for general content. I've been running yellows/reds today and was getting decent amount of currency, similar to other leagues. I get enough alch's to sustain and buy some maps without issue. I have 60 chisel's at the moment as well.

My currency tab looks the same as it would in prior leagues at this point pretty much.

I figured that GGG had reworked the entire loot system with something in mind, and of course there were things that needed changing/tweaking that should've been done prior to launch, but at least the loot system is sort of back in a decent place now for the average gamer. Those juicing maps will have reduced loot compared to before, and maybe they should. It's kind of a joke if you can make enough currency in a day or two to last an entire league of buying whatever you want.

Now there are still issues.

Minions are one, I feel like they need to be looked at for high end content as it seems like it's just not possible to do it.

I still would like to see Archnemesis removed or at least parts of it removed. The things like lightning mirages, flying orbs on death, degen puddles, and other things make AN mobs annoying to deal with, not really a challenge just ANNOYING. Also many mods out there screw over builds entirely. I get that some mods impact some builds more then others, but there shouldn't be a mod or combo of mods that add up to an auto loss situation.

Melee isn't in a good space at the moment, same for any build that requires you to stand still. Too much flying at you that can one shot you, or spawning on you, or just running at you. I wish all potential builds were at least somewhat viable at end game content, even if you need good gear or good skills, but it appears a lot of it isn't now and it's been going backwards each league.
You've destroyed harvest and turned crafting back into gambling.

You've destroyed juicing and turned maps into gambling for a payout instead of steady returns via juicing mechanics.

I'm done with PoE unless there's a sharp turn around.
First thank you for the update. "There shouldn't be a large gap between the difficulty and rewards of league content and base game content" My only issue is that 95%+ of my total wealth this league has come from outside the lake. I've ran a lot of lakes level 83, most of them with difficulty 10-15, yet I've got legit nothing good from any of them, nothing even decent from any. The main reason to play league is new content but when that new content gives nothing it's a complete waste of time, I could just play standard instead and not have to restart. I'm getting plenty from outside the lake, you could even say more than enough, but from the lake itself legit nothing every time.
