In that case you may have better gear than I. I have a hard time finding jewelry (anything else -aside from shield- is pretty much done) with IIQ + IIR + resists, let alone extra mana regen on it. Honestly, price wouldn't even have mattered much to me, I don't mind paying 10ex per ring or so. Was happy enough to have found an amulet that also has mana regen, putting me back to ~65 mana regen per second.

Demon Wish will eventually get fire resist on it, making it perfect for sporkers. Those poison clouds on maps >70 hit really hard.

As far as your gear goes, 2x Andvarius and so much +life on gear (Rathpith also) will make running RF impossible. Get Springleaf, some 5L/6L ES chest or Soul Mantle 4L/5L and replace at least one Andvarius if you want to boost your dps by a lot.

You see, the problem with this build is not really IIQ and IIR. My build was done long ago. The problem is getting to insane dps while maintaining your IIQ and IIR. That's the really expensive part. Right now I am back to my old IIQ and IIR from like.. 1 month ago. But I got a much higher damage.

I don't have that luck in this game, never have. Even with IIQ/IIR around 65/240 or something plus the rarity gem (I don't generally cast my skellies or spectre).

I've seen a single exalt drop, never an eternal. No mirror or shav or soul taker either.

Level 83 just recently.

I do have a RotP shield as well but my ES regen with springleaf is nice to have.
about 2.2K dps and 3800ES. My mana regen on wand is what helps. I should lower my clarity a couple levels (or level up my other clarity to around 15).

It's not 'nothing', it's a ton of currency. But you see, my build is overkill for Lunaris aside from Piety. Whether I have 2k, 3k or 5k dps will not make much of a difference. In high maps my dps is okay-ish, nothing special. I'm basically spending all that money to see how far this build can go. Any sane person would have stopped long ago and spent the remaining 100+ex on a few toons, I however greatly enjoy this build and have decided it will be my last.

I did not get rich from finding expensive items only. At least 30exalts are from selling chaos orbs, fusings or selling lower items for gcp which in return I sold for exalts. Also I saved up for a long time and farmed Lunaris with my old wand, old amulet (which I got for 3gcp) and my rings that I found on Docks ever since I read that post in here saying that the single best improvement(s) for a sporker are 1) a good wand 2) a mirrored ES chest. I had 1), so I saved up for a mirror and bought one for 60ex.
You can hope for amazing drops or take fate into your own hands. :) I chose the latter and also found some nice items on top of it.

That's about what I'm doing too. I bought the 2 most expensive items as the amulet and the wand (actually got the wand cheap at around 8gcp or something). I crafted the chest piece and found the rest (including andvarius). I use the chaos recipe best I can though the bottleneck for me is always the amulets. I get tons of gear but can go days without an amulet somehow.

I have about 14-15 exalts worth of currency and am building that up best I can. I try to sell stuff but man it's tough at times.

Not sure where I'll move the build from here except I know I need a shav. I enjoy playing this too and will likely keep moving her up. With job, wife and kid on the way I likely won't have tons time for new toons and my level 29 shadow, 59 witch on standard and 79 melee duelist on std. may slowly fade away.

Kind of curious on your thoughts on the inner force slight buff coming in the patch. The malachai may be fixed in the patch too (not sure to what extent) so that could also be big.

What Bandit rewards for RF sporker?

Most people choose skillpoint-skillpoint-skillpoint, however I helped Alira on cruel. You can't get 4% cast speed with a single point anywhere unless you spent a couple of points getting there. :p

The bug fix does not affect this build. If you run purity, haste, vitality off life and clarity, discpline off mana - simply carry a mana and life flask around and put Malachai's in your inventory. Casting everything in a new area takes 2 seconds. It probably will get risky on certain maps for endgame sporkers (without Springleaf), though. Imagine a map that deals X chaos damage per second to you, maybe with half regen also. Pray the 1% passive regen will help you survive long enough until you can cast vitality, else...

I think the IF buff will make that node more interesting if you have a very high fire resist already.

Finally got low life rf to work and seeing 969 dps on my three spork totems.

Cant find a wand to upgrade from moonsorrow, so stuck at this point till rng-gods bless me.


couple questions:

1. Do you guys still use any minions at this level of play?

I'm finding that they die too fast in Lunaris , but if I dont have them out, the totems go down pretty fast and have to be recast - that leads to mana issues atm so trying my hand in catacombs.

2. Im finding that when the damn soul mantle curses me with reduced fire resistance, i start to lose my es due to RF and have to back away, heal, and recast after regen.

Is the only way to deal with this just to use flasks that remove curses? (havent found any in trade yet).

3. When you say your doing xxx dps, is that straight off the character sheet, or are you multiplying the spark dps by how many totems you can have out?

eg. my dps is just under 900 without charges and just under 1k with, my sheet says 1k dps but since i'm using SM and I have three totems out all the time, would you state my dps as 3k?

Zombies are useful for Piety as a meatshield. At lvl20 their hp is pretty decent. Don't buy flasks, just grab one you find, make it magical and spam alterations on it until you get what you want.

Spark dps is tooltip dps. So my 3k is per totem, per cast.

The gist seems to be to use this as a guide and work it to suit your needs/equipment .


BTW guys, are we now going to start taking reduced mana reserve nodes to offset the BM "fix" incoming?

If so, what nodes are the easiest to remove with less dps lost?

I was thinking of grabbing the 2 5% nodes just above right to elemental adaption, even though thats a 4 passive total loss.
