I'm using heartbreaker right now for party play since I tend to be the official "mf char". The culling strike is really nice in that regard, but for solo play a moonsorrow adds 300 tooltip dps; I'm sure a nice wand would be even better.

If you're running mostly maps in a group then the investment into a heartbreaker may be worth it (pretty expensive still on anarchy), otherwise grab a cheap moonsorrow or wand with similar stats.

Amazing! I would like to know that, too. I have 28 IIQ and 241 IIR and except some crappy yellows nothing has dropped for weeks, neither in Lunaris, nor Docs. I don't do maps with this 75 lvl witch, because of instant kills from chaos. To be honest, it has been very boring and uneventful, even more so with other non-mf characters which have been stuck with bad gear for weeks because of no upgrade drops, even for level 50-60. PoE's RNG can make this game very, very stale and unattractive for casuals like myself.

I feel exactly the same. Several weeks of playing with IIQ/IIR of 43%/300% (plus IIQ and IIR gems from my spell totem - Arc combo) I have not noticed much, if any difference compared to earlier build without investing everything I got to IIQ/IIR items like 2x Andvarius rings etc. Not a single Unique drop in weeks @DOcks, nor anywhere else.

Most of the time I feel like something is buggeed, since my experience does not relate at all reports posted here about drops. Or maybe I am doing something really really wrong?

Both of you need more IIQ for soloing docks/lunaris, IIR isn't going to help if almost nothing is dropping.

Is it feasible to go power charge with this build?

First off, a question from me. Does the tooltip dps include crit chance/multiplier or just pure damage? I'm still wondering how GimpKid has so much more tooltip damage. I have 900 tooltip damage (without RF) at 13% crit chance, whereas he has 23% crit chance and a higher multiplier. (And higher casting speed, which does influence dps obviously.)

The biggest upgrade dps-wise would be Soul Mantle. Get a cheap one with few links and 5L it unless you have 4+ ex to buy a 5L or 6L, depending on what the current price is. Use http://poe.xyz.is/ to find items.

As far as farming goes - you lack IIQ. Aim for 100+ IIQ. That includes getting better helmet (without +life) and jewelry. You get ~40% IIQ from the gem at high level, usable in 5L Soul Mantle. Personally while I found a decent chayula, I don't use it. I'm not likely to get hit anyway, so I'd rather have IIQ and IIR on my amulet. I keep it as backup, though.

Build feedback:

I used to be always complaining about RNG and how bad my drops were but an example of how good this build is, I got an andvarius+ x2 bringer of rain+ marohi+ Infernal Mantle + many unique maps in the last 3 days. so yeah i'd recommend this build for anyone who's been sick of RNG.

NewbieQQ , what's your DPS with the power charges + RF? What's your IIR/IIQ at?

Rough calculation would be 320 IIR, 42 IIQ. I think many people in here forget about the importance of IIQ. Again, MF is calculated by (1+IIQ%)*(1+IIR%), so if you lack one of both, your MF will still not be very good. Though you may still experience good drops, that's just rng.

By the way, whenever I start PoE for the first time and do my first run, docks for instance, I experience low drops. As in, despite having 108% IIQ I drop as if I had 0% IIQ. It's normal for all other runs. Poor jokes aside ("skip the first run"), does anybody else experience that?
