Granted the advantages from Inner Force are "viable" early late game, I just believe that it should be done very late game. I am in full compliance with your statement, I just think it's best left to late game LvL ~80 to 85.

I think that being able to use the four skill points to attain fire res, freeing up your character from gear dependency and then transferring over to a dps/ES shield is fundamental. Granted each character is different with what resistances their gear does provide them, however I am just using passive resists and then refunding them based on my current gear (I find this to be the most efficient). I find gear dependency something that can truly cripple a build and if the character is not able to sustain RF with IF buff or is only able to sustain it with RotP/SpringLeaf problematic.

I would like to see screenshots of your ratio, I only doubt it because I am assuming you sacrificed IIQ/IIR to attain such high DPS/ES to attain it.

My gear is VERY similar to what Cloud used, he also has/had 3 lvls on me.

If you look at the build I actually ignored Arcane focus and the entire right side of witch tree. I'll be dropping more ES nodes most likely when I switch out that primsatic so I can wear my new helm, which will result in fire/light/cold all being capped and a nice dps boost from the free nodes.

No sacrifices required.

You have my sympathy, just two days ago it would have been a Shav. On the bright side it might be worth something. I know Kripp's build can't use it, maybe others can?

Builds vary a bit. Some take the shock nodes, some go for RF through Springleaf shield, others through 10/11 extra nodes.

This is a core build, others do it slightly different and skip the +mana nodes on the right side of the witch tree, e.g. like this:

Either way, from that point on you can go for Nullification, more crit chance/multiplier, and so on. You can read the last ~8 pages in this thread for more discussion about Righteous Fire, I for one don't use it. Those who do have different approaches, depending on your gear.

I was planning to use it for it's nice design (rare to see an armor with green stripe) however, it turned out that it still does not have its unique 3d. Sucks that new uniques do not have their unique art on their release dates.

I am in love with those gold amulet and ring.
When you have gear with such high values you can sacrifice some ES nodes. That's luxury right there. If anyone says that's average gear they're nuts (not that anyone has).

The lack of ES nodes from the right is fine when you have a massive ES shield like you do which accounts for around 40% of your total ES. It allows you a much higher boost off less passives on the shield side. You can't do that with springleaf or RotP.

Heck, this is a great example of what this build is meant to do. The tree and gear is meant to lend itself to the opportunity for better gear, not to remain as an end game build. Once you hit those high levels you will have more options.

What would the perfect wand be for this build?

I was thinking something like:

20% increased Spell Damage

+2 to Level of Fire Gems in this item
74% increased Spell Damage + 34% increased Spell Damage (108)
+25 to maximum Mana

109% increased Critical Strike Chance for Spells
30% increased Lightning Damage
22% increased Cast Speed

Did some research and I'm pretty sure it's possible to get those stats on a wand.

Also, my wand vs Moonsorrow? Moonsorrow lowers my tooltip DPS by quite a bit.

You have too many prefixes.

Prefix:
Incanter - 74 spell damage
Archmage - 34 spell damage

Suffix:
of Sortilege - 22 cast speed
or Arching - 30 lightning damage
of Unmaking - 109 crit chance or of Destruction - 38 crit multi

I think the crit multi is better, but im not positive. You can get +3 skill (+2fire,+1all) on your swap wand to power RF. There is one prefix open.

Edit: I made some quick changes to a discharge dps spreadsheet. At high crit chance 38 crit multi was better. At low crit chance (the majority of players) 109 crit chance was better. Keep in mind this is using an altered discharge dps spreadsheet. The test was just to see patterns instead of predicting actual spark dps.

same here i found an orange occultist vestment and i was like holy shit finally found a shave" until i hovered over it to find its the new unique T_T dammit. Why did they released another unique for the occultists lollz.

Just wanted to post an update after respeccing, and getting some better gear.

In the past 3 days or so, in about 30runs on Docks in total, I found roughly 15 Uniques (mostly crap, but still impressive compared to what I was getting before). I think my best run was when I found 3 uniques on the same map. I don't know what the hell I'm doing, but I'm going to keep on farming until I find that Shav. Current DPS is 700 w/o RF.

EDIT: Just found another 2 in one dock run. What the hell is going on!?
