I just sold everything on my LS character and going to rebuild my level 80 witch. Need to buy gear for her though.. How much ES should i get on my chest to maintain RF ?

And where's the best place to farm Shavronne's ? I know it can be found in docks, why does everyone farm Lunaris Level 3 ?

I'm able to pass RF breakpoint and gain ES while I'm running it. You won't need much ES to maintain it. I linked my gear for what I would suggest... I don't think that a rare ES armor is really worth it compared to soul mantle's applied passives.



The reason why people farm Lunaris LvL 3 is because of the experience gain and the increased threshold to drop higher level uniques due to monster level. There also are more drops of normal gear which can be chanced into those goldy uniques such as Kaoms. The disadvantage about Lunaris LvL 3 is that you have to deal with those tentacle minions easily nullified by enfeeble. There are more unique, rare and magic monsters overall. The constricted paths funnel sparks, used with frost wall it's an ion cannon pretty much. As long as you have eye of chayula you have no reason to worry.

Docks are easier to farm because the area is overall smaller, however you gain very little experience when compared to lunaris lvl 3, you don't have the chance to kill the boss on lunaris lvl 2 (I forget his name atm). You have to deal with cold damage (fire dmg should be no issue).

If you want to get currency you should farm ledge. IMO ledge and lunaris are the extremes of where to MF and docks is somewhat in the middle.

With your gear you're able to sustain RF? I always thought you needed really high ES and Fire Resists for it to work out. What's your IIR/IIQ if you dont mind me asking

Passive + Gear Attributes
Keep in mind this is without auras(vitality, discipline, clarity, purity, haste), conductivity, and RF. I'm also running lightning penetration instead of IIR gem in soul mantle. I get ~1.5k dps to ~1.9k dps.

You should practice theory crafting more, or at least learn how righteous fire works. Your ring, 10% increased fire damage and the fact that your life is 726 (about 200 hp too high) will prevent you from sustaining RF. Despite your gear having a lot of resists it is better to craft your build with resists in mind, then refund them once your gear is able to make up for the gains.

i was thinking too that my life is too high and change my belt for this one

Now i will change my gloves to quit this increase life.
Do you think after this changes can mantain the RF?
Any advice more?

Everyone was new at one point! Don't be hard on yourself.

Your passive skill tree is a bit chaotic, you can take a glance at mine if you wish.
You should use armorers scraps onto your gear, it'll help out with your total ES. I think your gear is overall very res based and you sacrifice DPS, iiq and iir for it. It would be best if you take a long hard look at your build and see if it would be possible to grab more res nodes, or at least fire res nodes. There are two 15% fire res nodes near troll's blood (which is almost a requirement for this build).

Edit: I would suggest grabbing a ruby flask and seeing if you are able to sustain RF even with the res +max res buffs. If not then it's your skills tree that is hindering you (and maybe that ring.). I personally would either trade that ring away or store it for another build.

Would you guys rather buy a 6L Soul Mantle or 5L Shav?

Depends on how much currency you have.

You can maintain RF with very little ES if you use springleaf. If you have more currency and want more dps you'll need around 6k ES to maintain RF without springleaf.

Best place to farm is lunaris 3 in my opinion if you have the more than 3k dps. Otherwise, I would do docks.
