" I have generally about 4-6 open (two linked sets) gemslots with the "minimal" build. You could probably have EK on Soul Mantle and be able to clear out as fast as two totem spark... However I personally think that double %20 bear or fire trap would be a much better choice for single target dps. Zombies(with all 3 support gems) provide the most benefit (in my opinion) in terms of security (not considering curses such as enfeeble, temporal chains, frost wall or summon skeleton totem [if you have soul mantle]). Frost wall however I think is the most vital optional skill for this build as it will allow you to reflect the majority of sparks in the direction you want (making a funneling effect)... Conversion trap is always useful to have on hand when facing heavy hitting mobs as it makes the enemies stay in a relative position. Has anyone played with frenzy charges for cast speed? ^^^^licho.
You should get a malachai and get rid of that blood magic gem. Also, I've seen multiple setups with more than 1 reduced mana gem. That's not needed. You can run an aura with reduced mana attached then move the reduced mana gem and activate the next auras. It's more fiddling but better overall better if you have only 1 high qual reduced mana high level. So long as you don't unequip that item or move that aura gem it'll remain reduced while on. Also, once you move the reduced mana gem you can put something else in that slot. Not sure what red gem you'd put there but you can. " I actually do it right now. Since GGG has stated that external scripts are related autoitv3 and/or autokey_l are very useful to do this quickly. In terms of those red gem sockets. Totems: Rejuvenating Totem, Devouring Totem, Decoy Totem, Flame Totem, Shockwave Totem Useful Stuff: Enduring Cry+Immortal Cry(assuming if you have two items holding auras)(would prove to be useful if you came across a heavy hitter and had to tank a bit of damage), Leap Slam, Molten Shell(not sure how it interacts with RF), shield charge(?)(I'm unsure how this skill works, can you use it without targeting an enemy?) Useless Stuff: Every other red gem. |

Why the passive skill tree starting point is 3% cast speed rather than 25% spell critcal chance?
Another question Is there +2% To maximum fire, cold and lightning resistance really useful ?? 5% increase before the update Last edited by CyberExtra#2238 on Jun 20, 2013, 9:00:40 AM

is it worthy to get elemental adaptation? Only 2% maximmun elemental resists.

Don't spend points on EA. Use them on DPS somewhere else.

It wasn't easy for me to figure optimal auras settings (to hit low life and keep enough mana)
So I made a calculator for that. If anybody is interested, here it is: zip archive (unzip and open 'index' page): https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/95615551/poe-aura-reservation-calc-v0.7.zip or online version (dont know if this free hosting is ok, sorry): http://alt0172.byethost3.com/ |

I posted this on RapterJesus' thread. I'm going to post it here so people don't miss it.

This is my current skill tree as a level 70 templar.
https://www.pathofexile.com/passive-skill-tree/AAAAAgUAAuMEBwVbB6UOSBFQEZYVUBpsHRQfAilPLJwspy0fNsU62DvhQ2NG10myTLNN2Fj1WfNaK13GXfJgbWaeZ71tGXBScNVxTXYRe9d-r3_GgW-CEIKbiEKLjIx2jRmOZI9Gj_qaz5uhnaOdrp3EnjyiLqKjo_KnCKcrtQS2-rcxu9bAGsG0wcXB88Nt0NDYJNrd3Yzd89-w4BLhc-L35CLk7OwY7DjtIO5v8h33pvfB-tL8qw== and my current gear: IQ = 68% IR = 214% on low life I'm currently getting roughly 604.7 DPS on spell totem without righteous fire, which far from where I want it to be. I would like it to be near 1000, but in reality, the best I can probably get it to currently is 800. Would it be wise to switch out my wand for a Moonsorrow? I honestly don't think I should. The only real benefit would be the increase cast speed, but will it make up for the spell damage I'll be losing? Are there any other changes I should consider to improve this? I was thinking my chest piece but I'm currently relying on the health bonus in order to run clarity on my health pool. Should I just reroll it and put clarity back on my mana pool? Let me bend your ear for a moment Last edited by Reprisal35#3580 on Jun 23, 2013, 1:04:42 PM
