I'm with you on spark. I don't think there is a clear replacement. The other "good" skills like FP and EK dont have the 360 damage potential. Sure, they can kill bosses faster but > 95% of a run is spent killing trash and < 5% on bosses (at least the runs I do).

I have a very strong feeling i'll be sticking with spark. Even with lets say a 20% dps loss the build is still overpowered.

You will not loss 20% dps (if your build is done correctly)

Me, i will have MORE or SAME DPS after patch and after a little tips: replace Item Quantity by Increased Critical Strike chance (ICSC) on 5L chest. When you will have 6L, you can put again item quantity.

On my characters:
Before patch: 17,7% crit

After: 11,8%

With ICSC lvl 19 Q0% -> around 16%

With that, the Savant node will have +20% spell damage.

Here we go, same DPS as before.

RF will still be on of course (1236 ES needed with Springleaf).

This build is clearly not destroyed after the patch for high lvl stuff/characters.
However, it will be a little more tricky for others.

Our expectations are different. I want to maintain RF without springleaf and keep my dps as high as possible without removing iiq/iir gems. My dps is 6.4k right now with iir/iiq gems. I guess we'll see fairly soon how much of a drop it will take.

PS: Use Increased Crit Damage instead of Chance.

Looks like Energy shield nodes changed from 8% to 6%.
Also noticed they changed the elemental resist when holding shield. Believe it was 15% each now only 10% each. that blows.

Also Body and Soul (now called Mind and Matter) was 20/20/10% now is 20/16/8%. A couple others it seems as well.

Will need more resist on all gear it seems. Or pick up the 6% node just below Inner Force. That really does blow when they lowered damage but didnt mention elemental damage.

How is Fork on totems supposed to work anymore? Now we need to move the totems right next to the mob pack and it gets killed instantly. GG for GGG ruining fun build. Spork wasn't op, RF was. Before patch 32.3% crit chance so I guess now it will be 15% yay. Gonna vendor this shit gear and start new char again.

I wouldnt give up if thats the main issue for you. I put totems in the middle of mobs on Lunaris 3 pre patch. You need more dps.

Can someone post a build that will work well after the patch ... im new to this game and took only frost spells for now...

Should i get spark spells by level 25-26?
