0.9.9e BSOD Win 7-64

Same here, also use an X-Fi card.

I'm a hardcore-only player and I've lost my last 3 characters due to this bug. Real frustrating.

As someone else said, use the --nosound flag on the shortcut.
Just got my first BSOD as well. And yes I have a X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card. It is not my hardware at fault, its the game that is the culprit. I really hope the DEV's fix this issue because X-fi is like the most common sound card everyone uses.
I'm having this exact same BSoD error, and it did not happen before the 0.9.9 update at all.
Had 3 of them in the past day.

Seems to happen most upon area changes.

I too have a Creative card, an Audigy2 ZS to be exact.

It does not happen in any other game/application etc and as mentioned, only since 0.9.9.

I will try that --nosound option, see if it helps.

I have had several BSoD's (Creative SB X-Fi card and Win 7 64)

can only play reliably with the nosound switch so it does appear to be audio related
Didn't have much time to test with the nosound option but while using it I didn't bump into a BSOD or any other client crash. But overall my test time was too short to have much weight.

It might not be your hardware, but it is definitely the audio driver.

The game is probably just exercising some piece of code that the driver doesn't handle well.
Same Bluescreen here, Win7 64.
Also have X-Fi, but BCCode: 50 would not be related to sound driver, it says PAGE_FAULT_IN_NONPAGED_AREA.
It might be related to my RAM size of 6gb though...

I got the same BSOD and I have a X-Fi XtremeMusic sound card, its not your RAM at fault, its the game conflicting with these sound cards for some reason.
Ditto on the bluescreen, same issue, Win 7 64-bit and Audigy 2 ZS.

Running with --nosound option appears to work fine....but you know....there's no sound. :)
