I would also like to know.
Looking for a little help and would rather not make a mistake

LVL 66
I have 79 skill points to dish out
I would like to be an LA ranger.
I have a 5 link Bow and Chest.

I have most if not all the GEMs I need some not Q yet.
what should I take first and Blood magic, iron Fist, etc.
I have been following the tree you have posted only exception is I need a pinch more INT right now for my armor.

lmk

thank you

There's a few +30 INT nodes that you can pick up on this build. 79 skill points should get you quite a bit of the major keystones and notables, just sacrifice some of the attack speed or (if you have to) life nodes so that you can wear your armor. Just make sure that your life regen + life on hit/leech can sustain your 5-linked blood magic skills and you should be fine.
First of all, thank you for the great guide!

As ive just checked the lvl 1-80 skill tree i discovered an inexplicable choice of skills.
Why would you choose "ancestral knowledge" over "hard knocks" which would save you one skill point? Its waiting to be picked on the way to blood magic while ancestral requires you to spend an (unnecessary) extra point...

correct?

I like the changes but im taking way 2 much dmg now even with IR. I ripped on mobs that I face tanked before the patch and I have 6.9k hp atm. Just don't feel as tank as I did before.

iron reflex took the biggest nerf. dex doesnt apply to it anymore but its still a must have since evasion will never b a "for sure" way to mitigate dmg.

bump
The chance to Vaal +1% maximum resists on an amulet is less than 1/300.

Seems spot on to me, thanks!

EDIT: The only downside I see to changing this is when/if you transition to 6L with bloodmagic gem. You'd have to spec that extra point back in to get Ancestral Knowledge back, but you'd be saving a bunch of points by gemming BM anyway, so probably no big deal.
