Hello There, I follow your stream for a bit of a time and when im not working i like to playing POE and see your stuff, in the last days with this new patch i see that you alter your builds from 1-80 LA and 1-80 ROA.
I see somewhere written that LA is become better than ROA? before the patch your 2 builds were very similar but after the patch you changed the 2. I have different chars but my ranger were following your ROA build before the patch and it was at level 61. im wondering if i respect and put the the 1-80 Build or if its worth it to transform (since im going to respect) in LA 1-80 Build. Just one more thing, im my currently build of ROA i have Point blank , and the dps improve a lot. Dont you think its worth it to get for 2 points in the tree? Thanks |

Hey there,
i just red your guide because i have problems with my my ranger. I am lvl 55 Bow ranger with only 500 DPS and I just got into merciless but i feel like i dont do any dmg. I mostly go in groups because without i would fail hard. So know my question is: In my passiv tree i used a lot of skill points in attack speed and physical dmg, if i would respec them like in your guide wouldnt i have a lot less dmg than before? Maybe i would be much more tankier but i wouldnt do any dmg at all or am i misssing something? And another question: I want to go for RoA. Does RoA do physical dmg or Elemental dmg? I also got an elemntal bow... Thanks in advance!! |

So I'm playing my first PoE character and following the RoA build in this guide, friends are sort of helping guide me through it all (40 RNG on ONS).
I'm currently using a lot of Poison Arrow and a lot of RoA to actually DPS, with Frenzy as my single target. Since I also have no mana leech or regen at this point, I rarely run the auras I have (Grace, Anger, Hatred, Wrath). I still haven't taken BM yet, and I'm wondering what kind of stats I should be looking for before I do. I'm sitting at 277 DPS, with pretty much no life leech or LoH. Hello,
So this is actually quite a large thread so if I missed the answer to this please forgive me. Starting a brand new ranger, with little to no gear beyond level 10 can I use this to level from 1-90 and with very low currency which build should i be focusing on? Thank you. I started playing poe 1 week b4 open beta came out, then stopped.
Just came back with alot of the new changes (havent read them all or understand em). Re-starting another ranger mainly following this guide. What a in-depth guide this is, thanks for the tips and advice along the way. My dps starting to be low as my bow is way too low level, (lvl 30 as i type). |

For those of you struggling with DPS issues at Low Level 1-60. Make sure you are using support gems at your best!!! run Auras like Wrath and Anger on your life (once you go Blood Magic)
4 Link your RoA w/ Weapon Ele Dmg, Faster Attacks, Life Leech, RoA 4 Link your LA w/ LA, LMP, Life on Hit, Weapon Ele Dmg IGN= Gankstaboo

I have a question about your RoA 1-40 Passive skill map... There are 53 skill points on it right? (120-67=53) If you are level 40 plus all of the extra skill points from normal (or any act) which would be 40+6=46. So where is the other 7 skill points from or was it an error?
A1: Dweller in the Deep = 1 The Marooned Mariner = 1 The Way Forward = 1 A2: No extra skill points unless you kill all 3 bandits. Assuming this guide is followed, there is no extra skill point at normal. A3: Vicario's Secret = 1 Piety Kill = 2 1+1+1+0+1+2+40 = 46 If I am missing something, please let me know. I am trying to use this guide but I want to make sure that I am doing it right hence the double checking of skill points. Thanks |

it was not a mistake! remember it is just a Guideline. its not JUST till level 40. cause you still have to finish out for the 1-80 spec too. its just to give people an Idea of where they are going
