I think the fishing rewards are too OP. I just got +20% to all resists from one of the quests. What is the point of that? That's just too much. I would understand if it was 5% but 20% seems like too much just for a mini-game.

Did anyone else see "Soaked Parchment"? It has some glitched art which might be placeholder but the text was something like "This looks like a page of an atlas but its currently very wet."

Why would they add the word currently? And the word atlas? And why does it stack?

nope finally got my fishing rod went through 10 alchs(bait) trying to catch a golden Swallow....no luck

Apparently if you add 4 pieces of it in the Lab PoEdrics Cube is created and gives you an extra stash tab!

Will be a while until anyone gets all four pieces though!

Well maybe that makes sense but then why did it have a stack size bigger than 4?

And why did it say "Currently wet"

Maybe you have to add 4 pieces and a fire skill gem? Id test it but I can't even remember which particular zone it came out of. Plus there needs to be 4 and a perhaps a very specific fire gem? It would suck to burn it instead of dry it. Maybe theres another thing that you have to fish up thats specifically for drying atlas pages?

Well as far as I know the eternal lab only has 4 slots for items.. correct me if i'm wrong.

You may be onto something though, I remember someone catching the fireball gem it read something along the lines of "Just a normal fireball gem, or is it?"

We need to test this asap !

I actually didn´t even know fishing existed in PoE until I found this thread! Thought it was some kind of a joke first...

OK so I found jabberjaws on my fifth try in cruel difficulty, got the quest etc. and started fishing.

I actually caught a few snapper but nothing really special. Then something really weird happened and don´t even know WHAT it was but my fishing rod broke. Didn´t feel different before but when I tried to pull the fish out I only got a short message and gone was my fishing-rod.

Why did this happen?


And where can I get a better rod? I know the quest-npc gives you a new "standard" fishing rod but where do you guys get those unique ones from?

Cool, fishing. How about you fix loading screen time or how laggy fucking LIGHTING ARROW IS, so people stop dying during the FUCKING LOADING SCREEN.
