Anybody Catch Anything Good Yet?

Got a mail about fishing. ;)


I think it would be a very nice easteregg, if the developer crew is added to the existing vaal pond level, sitting near the pond, fishing and telling pirate jokes round a campfire.
Of course every crewmember gets his spitting image as 3d npc character.

This way you would always be in good company. (fishing alone is too boring after some hours)


After watching a doctor Who episode, i would definitely spend a few bucks for a flying version of a anglerfish like this :

following around as a pet, glowing in the dark.

Angler's are a current catch.. if i'm not mistaken they are found in fetid pool (makes sense i guess)

Only increases quality of an item by 5% though.. not worth the effort as it's the only good fishable drop there.

wtf, you can actually fish? well i have never actually read any txt from any npc in the game so i dont find it surprising that i didnt know this, even with multiple 60+ toons.

Apparently that's not the only text you failed to read! :D

Honestly, though, the easiest way to fish is to use Remote Mines. Mining for fish is waaaaay faster.

Wow, just got this.. how rare is it? (from the huge octopus that invades fellshrine )

i hadn't taken the time or the points to invest in fishing at all, but today i respec some of my passive tree into fishing.
Those extra 10% fish catching ability sure does make it easier.
Right now im working on getting the vendor recipe for the lobster maw rare fish pool, but have yet to find anything on wiki about it.

Some of us were hoping to land a few sardines with our whoppers of a mackerel tale....
