Fire Trap

Does blast radius node affect the spread of burn on the ground and the damage?

Sorry if there is actual info but im too lazy to read 30 pages of this.
My question:
Why so many people uses 2x fire trap liked in one item ?
I have just tested 2xfire trap in helmet and there wasn`t any addjustment (colldown the same, dmg the same, throwing speed the same). I cant understand it.
so they can keep using it as the skills recharge.

however that isn't true anymore due to a patch some time ago but still recent. the two fire traps would have same charges and cooldowns.
Is this an attack? A spell? What supports this and doesn't?
Does the skill passive "High Explosive: Trap damage penetrates 10% element resistence" increass my burning damage in any way?

No. Penetration is an on-Hit effect. Damage over Time does not Hit.

Doesnt it make the burning dmg higher cause the mob took more initial dmg?
Ignite benefits indirectly, yes.

foes will gain +50% resist after the explosion, and thus take less damage from the ground burning. otherwise if the ground burn was only thing damaged by foes, they DON"T gain EE's +50% resistance.
