Hi an thx for the Build. I'm very new in PoE and this is one Guide is understand as a noob:)

I already played a few Levels but I don't understand how to decide which Gems to level or to leave at Lvl 1. I miss a detailed Section for the Skills in this Guide.

So I already get Burning, Split and Poison Arrow. Should i leave them on max Lvl 5 (I often read this in Forums) or keep leveling them? And the same Question for all the other Skills in this Guide. Leveling or leave at 1?

Sorry for my bad english:)

You level up your gems. Although i don't see what burning and poison arrow have to do with this guide?
Hi, thanks for the build! I've been using it since release, already lvl 69 and starting maps, never had a problem :)

-----------------------

I have a question though, I'm nearing enough currency to get a Lionseye, and i'm wondering, after getting it, I should respec out of Resolute Technique, right? What to do then? And i'm thinking if it's maybe worth it to grab some crit nodes, and start stacking/making use of some crit on gear and the lionseye itself.

There isn't much room to grab crit nodes though, so i'm wondering if it's actually worth it to even bother.

Thoughts? What to do after getting a Lionseye?

Hi!
I love this build and your channel, it really helped me get into the game.
However, I would like to play lightning arrow instead of iceshot, so I thought I could try to improvise on your build, to see if I actually understood what made the build work, and what can work differently.

The number of points is basically the same for the final build.
What I did was to stop the expansion to the left after getting blood magic, so that I could have points to push further into the dex tree. By cutting off what I did, I lose 100 strength, 30 flat life, 36% life, 12% resist and 1.9% regen. However, I can grab the 2 +30 nodes if need be, so that is not that much of an issue. I get some life as well, so I don't lose as much as it would seem. I can grab 8% resist from nullifictation as well, and heart of oak somewhat mitigates the loss of troll's blood.
By doing this I grab 30% lightning damage, tons of crit, and I can roll (iron reflexes+Ondar's guile+acrobatics) instead of (iron reflexes+unwavering stance) which feels like an ok trade off to me.

Can anyone tell me if it is viable, or if I am making a mistake I don't see?

You have some good points there about the summoner, but as someone who has tried both summoner builds and LA ranger builds, I find that the summoner build is eeeeextremly slow and tedious to play until you get to level 50+. I don't know if this is due to having crap gear, might as well be, but the guide is aiming at beginners anyway, and beginners don't have a stash of great stuff. It's easy to play though, you got that right :)

"...but the guide is aiming at beginners anyway, and beginners don't have a stash of great stuff."

Exactly why summoners, although not as fun to play for most, are the best since you do not have the gear requirements that any other build will have.

Sure, this build may be more fun for most players, but they will still have to worry about that "level 30" wall that will crush them. Summoners never, at least in my experience, had any wall.

The wall for summoners are lvl 1-50 :P

I have not experienced any such wall with either of my summoners.

Getting Lioneye's is a pretty decent endgame goal for this build. If you do you can grab the crit nodes below aspect of the eagle in the ranger area.

That said, comparatively speaking, Lioneye's is not as good as it once was. Phys bows can roll much higher now than they could and just saving up for an amazing bow and keeping RT is also a viable option.

Also glad to hear the builds been working well for you!

Little update, I respecced out of the aura as you advised and got myself considerably better gear, and I'm very very glad I took that advice. My DPS is higher than ever, as is my life, and though I haven't started mapping yet I've been doing Piety runs with ease.

I've recommended this build and your YT channel to several of my friends that have started playing; you've really helped me get going in this game and I cannot thank you enough.
Is there a version of this that would work for Scion? I'm interested in the build, but don't really like the character...

Unlocked Scion, but I'm struggling with the final boss so I figured I might roll a new character for when I'm not in the mood to hunt for better gear.

Edit: I had a crack at it myself, since Scion starts near part of the tree. Had to lose some of the points near the start of the Ranger tree, so I'd need some experienced feedback on it. It's 95% the same though, so I think it might work.

Passive skill tree build

Edit edit: Also, is the preferred Bandit rewards Life/Skill Point/Frenzy Charge?

Awesome! Thanks for reporting in, always good to hear how the build is working out for people. Especially because a lot of people are still pretty against the idea of not running auras. When you just embrace it you unlock a lot of extra efficiency.

And thanks for sharing my channel around man! Super helpful.

Preferred bandits is Life/Physdamage/Endurance though Frenzy charge could also work.

For passive tree I would not skip the amazing life wheel for the scion, especially as it will make leveling easier as the scion.

A little over but you can just pick up some of the ranger damage nodes in the late 80's.
