Path of Exile needs seriously to have an official mac support. Even with the help of the community. It is 2012 not 2006. Right now, I really want to support the game etc but I'm forced to install XP on my Mac Pro. Respect for the game developers for such a nice game. Arrived from Diablo 3. What a disappointment .

" I think the cause was that somewhere in the fight I minimized the window and it crashed, I think or I might have closed it because the screen went all black. I did what you said but unfortunately at the moment only the wrapper displays as a larger window and inside the app is still very very small. I tried all of configurations under the screen options with no luck so far. Is there any way I can reinstall it (without downloading again would be preferable). Thanks |

The exact same issue has been happening to me for a couple of days too. I've tried updating my wrappers and changing the engine, but it was futile. Though, the past two times after I've restarted my computer in the morning after waking up, it will go normal, but if I restart it, then it goes back and stays. I wish I knew the cause :\

Not having the best of luck with this.
- frequent crashes (changing zones, or switching resolution) - much too long load times (on SSD) - cannot escape fullscreen - stuttery on gtx260 - text/font problems Technically it works, but as a hardcore player this is unplayable. 8-core xeons, gtx260, 6gb ram, SSD, osx 10.7.4 IGN @dime Last edited by dime#0720 on Jun 26, 2012, 1:30:30 PM

And I thought I could finally play POE again after the sound errors way back in the day, but I too am getting the 50x50 px window problem as well. :( Oh well...

Let's hope closer to the launch date or open beta there will be more stability. I think Mac version is equally important these days.
I'll be coming back here from time to time to check if there are any new solutions tho. |

I installed bootcamp on my MacBook Pro and now I run the game 100% lag free.
I would seriously consider installing BootCamp, if you need any assistance setting up bootcamp, feel free to send me a PM. |
