Floating combat text

I agree that adding floating text is a must. (optional ofc)

To anyone against that: *Im speechless about your kind*

Also, nothing beat the satisfaction of my brain when it see a screen full of numbers floating around from massive AoE combo.

*optional* You should try too... *optional*

(you see it wasnt that hard to accept as a suggestion, since you wont even be forced to ever push the button that activate it)

Combat text would be a nice optional thing.

Should be how many selfheal you have too.

For example: You get 10 HP life on hit. Then would be a green 10 near of your charakter.

It´s just like Diablo 3 yes, but I like to see if my gear is just turned better for my gameplay.
I love to use the edit button. :P

Greetings from Germany.
+1 for optional FCT

I would love to see FCT as well. I'll take whatever they give (such as the three options that the dev said were likely going to be implemented) but I would love as much information as they're willing to give. Just like other people were saying I would love to see the option to turn on/off many specific things like blocks, evades, misses, healing, etc.

I can't comprehend these people who are against it when it would be OPTIONAL.
I support this.
Trespassers will be shot survivors will be shot again!
I support this 100%. Some people don't....so allow it to be turned on/off in options.

I like me some combat numbers.
The king is dead. Long live the king!
i'd love to see this, if not for dmg numbers, then to tell when I "miss" vs. just swinging wildly in the air due to mis-targeting. The difference isn't always clear at the moment.
I would like to see this optional feature.

I believe they are working on it, there is not ETA when it will be released.
Would personally enjoy this option ^-^
If cookies were push-ups, I would be ripped.

In log chat or in the main screen it doesn't matter. My point was that it gives extra gameplay information, which then makes it somewhat mandatory to use.

Those of us that have been playing the beta have gone this whole time without it, so obviously it isn't mandatory at all, is it?

What's odd is your argument is based on "feeling like you have to use it," which implies you admit there is an advantage. Yet you fight it.

There is no "information overload" because it will never be necessary to simply play and enjoy the game. You shouldn't even have to pay attention to it unless you change your stats, your gear, encounter a new enemy, or you're comparing skills. Between those situations, you're going to be seeing roughly the same numbers so just ignore them if you want to. There's no reason to obsess over the damage points of the 50th time you hit the same mob type with the same attack and the same gear.

Either way, it's being implemented. So get ready to "feel forced to use" the OPTION.
