Just out of curiosity, would you league start with this?
And if so, could you make a few leveling trees and/or give general tips for leveling? Build looks very interesting! | |
" I have made this build in Affliction league. Tbh, it is not an optimized build for league start. But I never play for the race. It's doable, though, as you will quickly melt bosses and explode packs. Get Rebuke of the Vaal sword + Bino's dagger and keep all the way to red maps. The levelling tree is not complicated : go towards Shadow and then Ranger to get all the poison clusters. Get gloves with +1 strike target, and the Attack mastery for another +1. Add Ancestral Cry + Urgent Orders for +2 targets and you're good. For endgame, add cluster jewels to stack Low Tolerance notables. Try to find a good rare sword to replace Rebuke of the Vaal. But this is mostly a luxury. Note that you don't need 100% hit chance, surprisingly. Really want to play this for 3.25 as my league starter (and finisher). Worth it? Mostly going to be doing blight probably and want something with a good prolif / pop playstyle and want something a bit more off meta as most meta builds I'm seeing this league don't really do it for me.

I would say that the safe choice for 3.25 is Mamba.
Why ? Because I have two uncertainties about regular Viper : the increased mana cost and the rework of Vaal Pact. Gotta test it for real. I'm sure Mamba will be efficient for Blight, with its chaosplosions and poison prolif from Bino's Kitchen. It should also kill Essence monsters and Beasts in a few hits, if not one. So it's safe with Mamba for 3.25? It's just that guide is full of everything and honestly confusing now which info is relevant.

" Ok, to make things clearer, I'm going to remove all older infos and put them in the second post of the thread. And yes, it is safe to go Mamba. It was working fine in 3.23 and in 3.24. The only thing I don't know is whether we could allocate Perfect Agony. But for now, it does not matter. The build will deal high dmg without it.
