(Old league) Cut-throat testers wanted

Will there be another test before weekend ? :)
I agree that gems should never be dropped, and probably scrolls as well.

If there is ever going to be a long term CT league then some changes need to be made to gear availability / drops, but this was really good for a short term event.

AND SO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT ON THIS, THE 19TH DAY OF APRIL 2012,

losing all scrolls is divesting. I feel losing half, rounded up, is better. I also agree that dropping gems isnt kool. I loved everything else tho. This had more intensity than the usual grind.
Running isn't freedom. You should know that.
ighnaz - Thanks for the beta key!!!!

Would suggest removing the "player has joined". So you can sneak up on people to an extent, but still be visible on the map. Obviously keeping "player has left" is good so you don't just keep looking for someone who isn't there.

I'd recommend the opposite. The join/leave notifications build suspense, especially if enemies don't show up on the map. It's also nice to know when someone leaves so you don't end up wasting 10 minutes looking for someone that isn't even there.
Good work on killing Chris guys, too bad it was dishonourable! 4 on 1!
RIP Bolto
Cut-throat league = don't take any chances ;)
Besides, we were only 3 at that moment.

the issue is maps are so big and random layout that it would be incredible hard to track anyone for either side you would just have people running around lost hoping to bump into each other or not to bump into each other.

Maybe decreasing the range at which people appear on map or something but full removal sounds bad.

You could also have an arrow at the edge of the map/screen pointing in the direction that they are. But everyone seems completely against any sort of map marking at all. I don't understand why, they all seem to think they are the hunter, I wonder how they will feel when they are the prey?

I agree that there should be a small range where they do show up. Something similar to d2 would probably work well.
