When I'm using combo of 2 or more skill gems paired with supports (tormenta's example from 1st post) and both this gems are same lvl and got same exp point value (they will 'catch up eventually) but different quality, which one will be used as my 'main'?
That with more quality?
Or maybe socketed in specific item, paired with higher lvl supports or game will choose which one randomly?

For each gem, the highest level one is used. In the case of two gems of the same level, the highest quality one is used.
In the case where both the level and the quality are the same, it doesn't matter, since they have the same effect, and I believe it's arbitrary.

Anyone know what the max value is for various mods?
My main inquiry is with regards to INNATE mods such as with belts and rings.

Some that I know
fury stone: 17% spell damage
jade necklace: 17% cold damage
some belts: 7% armor/evasion/energy shield

Two that I want to know
Leather belt
cloth belt
I think cloth is 20%, and I don't know what leather's is.
Fresh cakes for all occasions.
Delivery in 30 eons or less

Being able to kill higher lvl mobs shouldn't be penalized imo. It's more risky and should be more rewarding.
Is there an "optimal" amount of rarity% and quantity%? Like for example is 100 of each better than 200 in only one?

Quantity is better, since it increases the drop rate of everything - white items, orbs, etc.
Whereas quality only increases the chances of items being magic/rare/unique.

The optimal amount is probably as much as you can get without sacrificing too much killing speed or survivability. They do not suffer from diminishing returns or any hard limits.
