0.10.4 Patch Notes

I don't get this loot change, there seems to be a contradiction in what's posted, or am I missing something ? Can anyone tell me where I'm wrong, or does GGG still need to clarify this ?

In the first quote, it's clearly stated that all players have to be near you both at the start of the battle and at the end of the battle.
In the second quote, it's stated that at the start of the battle they just have to be 'in the same area', and that they only have to be near you at the end of the battle.

Which is correct ?

If it's the first, that seems way too harsh. Also in general, 1 screen seems too harsh. If you need to run a bit because something is chasing you or whatever, you don't count towards the drops ? If there really is no other solution, this must be communicated to the players very clearly, because this really is a completely hidden 'feature' with serious consequences. But reading through the comments in this thread, I doubt there aren't any better solution to the multiboxing issues... At first I was "whatever", but reading through these comments gives me the impression that this isn't a good solution for the problem... Haven't thought of an alternative though or haven't even been following the discussion about multiboxers, so can't really help with that :p

To the people QQ'ing about solo drop rate: Nothing has changed neither in this patch, neither in 0.10.3. Are you on drugs?

And about the chaos recipe, quit crying omfg, maybe farm >60 areas and you can still do the damn recipe. What do you want people farming in lvl 15 areas to have the same reward than people farming higher areas? Are you botters or what?

Multiboxer & botters tears are hilarious.

P.S: /playersx is bad bad bad design, if you want increased item quantity run with IQQ gear and pay the penalty ( not having other mods available).

The proximity seems a little close, like if i have 3 distance players in my usual party and we stand on two sides of a boss/unique do we still count or do we all have to risk our chars and 15% staying super close to the boss/unique?

Maybe it does change something. I like to load up my GFs character while doing maps for little extra quantity bonus. It has been stated numerous times around forums that soloing maps with decent mods makes you bleed currency. I still get the same exp i farm slower because of increased hp but i get little more reward for it. Its still 1 mans work.

Im already paying the price for soloing maps im more susceptable to desyncs and on maps with tough rolls theres nobody else to take a hit instead i make a mistake i die and get set back 15 maps behind and loads of currency.


Lastly i dont have to bleed currency anmore as much as before. In fact im able to save something up without having to devote every resource to keep the map rolls decent.

How does that put me in same box with multiboxers?
Nice patch. A lot of complaints about the change to clicking outside the merchant screen... if it bothers you to find the little close button in the top right corner, then just tap the escape key on the keyboard. It annoys me when I click just to the side of the accept button and accidentally close the sale, so I appreciate this change.

Yeah I think v1.03 made breaking vases and lootable corpses not drop anything, then v1.05 or v1.06 re-introduced loot to some of the things, but heavily reduced the likelihood of it being useful loot. I was turned off from the game after v1.03 and stopped playing altogether not long after. I was enjoying both the single player and multiplayer experience in that game until then :/

Stay in school bro. Now cyclone does 14.3% more damage than it did before.
LOL at the dual spork totem guy saying he was multi boxing to have more of a challenge.....you have the safest build available you want a challenege then roll a character that actually has to enter a room with mobs.

Sorry I like niche builds that make farming like you suggested pretty much impossible. This game is advertised as almost unlimited build diversity. Yeah sure I can make an OP lightning arrow shadow or freezing pulse whatever. But that's even less fun.
