If the program is constantly running and will auto-log you out once your health reaches a certain threshold, that's not a macro, it's just a regular script, which is differently banned.

They actually can and do detect that in particular because if you always perfectly send logouts at the same time as you receive health info packets detailing less than X health, you must be using a script (it's just obvious when it keeps happening with inhuman precision).

If it's a button you manually press to scan your health and then log you out... I think that *would* be allowed, but it seems largely useless. (holding the button down would be equivalent to GGG as just running a background script)

It has nothing to the game exe. It closes connections opened by the application like you turned net cable jack out from the NIC or closed your PPPoE/VPN/Ethernet interface in the Network Settings or Device Manager.

That's what they've always said. If a macro would perform more than 1 server action, it's banned (for example, a flask macro).

If you don't understand what a server action is, you have no place in this discussion whatsoever.

Now the second things is, how many actions does a program need to perform this simulation to close all the connections?
If there is special exe of cports.exe used inside the macro it means that its probably more than 1 command line, otherwise you wouldnt need the exe in first place.

Third "1 action = 1 button" is superb flexible term. For me alt+f4 is 2 actions since it require 2 button press. If you say its same as macro, then why do you use macro in the first place? If its faster it means is require less actions from you, otherwise it wouldnt be faster.

Additionaly I can find bounch of people which will say that pressing 5 flasks at one time is just 1 action for them.

And the last, most important. The exe in the file does something that you cannot manualy do in the game. Meaning that it introduce something new which is the biggest break of a TOS. You cannot close the game manualy by closing its connections first.

If Zizarian or whoever else I dont care about is using such macros, they should be banned, since its obvious program that gave them unfair adventage over other players.
