Got a lucky slam on my boots for the fire res, really helped because it let me drop fire res from my lethal pride and I was able to get some more str/es regen.



I multi-modded my wand to get the minion attack speed on there. While I was researching mods on poe db there are some really interesting mods you can add via the new exalted orbs (exposure, curses, etc) they don't really benefit me using skeles because I don't 'hit' often but might be worth a look for some who have a spare slot on their wand.


Anyway, if anyone is following skeles I updated my PoB with some recent changes in here. Added AG / apes as well, the culling/fortify is nice from kingmaker. Swapped out punishment for vulnerability.

Also, OP had asked about EE on this build, I tested one night with a curse on hit shaper's touch (for visual cue) to see how storm brand (and several other) skills worked. I felt using flame dash was just as effective at applying the curse/EE as the other skills I tested (for bossing/large packs mostly, small stuff doesn't matter). My thought was I could get curse on hit shaper's touch and run storm brand in my wand and that would apply EE/curse, but it doesn't feel worth it or better to me.

I have four carnage chieftains with clarity 15, no blood magic, minion life, works very consistently with three frenzy charges.

Spirit offering every 4 seconds is very strong, keeps them alive in 90% of the contents. For other 10% use stoneskin frayers.

I wouldn't use AG with anything more than kingmaker and all defensive gear with this build. Again, use him for 90% content, other 10% unsummon him.

I just saw a crazy POB someone posted on Chinese forum. Double cold iron point, double circle of nostalgia, two levels amulet, corrupted armor, hatred/skitter/flesh and stone without helmet enchant, and he showed 25 million DPS and was still resist capped.

I don't know if it is because Chinese version of POB is bugged, but even if it has shock = 50% and some unrealistic buffs like frenzy charges, power charges, projectile weakness, and feeding frenzy all at same time with carnage/host chieftains . . . I will definitely add it as a variant.

Will play around in POB. I would say our survivability is still better than 90% of the builds in the game, and it is a fun build for people who hit 100 already and don't care about death. I also think it can go deeper in delve as well seeing how raider/deadeye dominate deep delve with glass cannon builds.


Yea, that's the glass cannon version of this. Saw someone using it last league.

Jewel Sockets, belt, boots weere all used to cap resists instead of add mana/ES. The one I saw was at 8k ES. Last league that was ok if you just wanted to farm bosses. But he was unable to push past Delve 500. This league he will die very often against bosses and even Metamorphs I think.


I think you were looking at a life based sister build.

I am sure he has more than 8K energy shield. I will run the numbers but I think 15K is easily doable. This guy has one Circle of Nostalgia and he has 21.7K.

I ran these in PoB a few weeks ago, I did % attributes ones / mana and global def. IIRC only the mana/attributes one was better than a good astramentis, and it wasn't by much.

lvl3 empower and enlighten are fine. you don't necessarily need a +1 glove either. they are final upgrades to optimize the build when you already have everything else in place. i only just got lvl 4 enlighten earlier today and i don't have a +1 glove either



Whoops I just realized in the gloves it should be an enlighten gem not empower. The gem section of gloves says I need a +1 glove or enlighten 4 to use hatred. Since I probably won't get an enlighten lvl 4 or +1 glove for now, the gems I should use are generiosity, enlighten lvl 3, skitterbot and dread banner?



Can anyone answer this? I'd like to know asap

Well dex is the most important because without a chunk of it you will be no way near the amount needed for a level 21 HoAg. Then you want as many other stats as possible whether it's str or int and then you multimod if with %es and flat mana

I think hatred is most widely used instead of banner. But maybe someone can chime in, I haven't seen a good reason to use banner instead.

Yeah, limited testing shows the clarity level does matter. Broke down and got a level 4 Enlighten.

Level 1-2 clarity frenzy charges fall off for long periods, even with 4 carnage chieftains.

Level 13+ (which Act 1 Nessa sells conveniently) Uptime is well over 90%. And that's mostly when it falls off when nothing is close enough to yell/mass frenzy at. Worth considering depending on mana situation.

Related: Tropical Island has Blood Progenitors. They also have mass frenzy, and poedb.tw.xyz says they have over twice the health and much better cold/lightning resist. Assuming google translate got it right. But you can't get them anytime for free in act 7. I'll test them out sometime tonight. I can't find mana totals for any of these.
